I shouldn’t play it at midnight and get a decent sleep but feck it
Handheld, procontroller or joy-cons?I played for an hour last night it was really fun. Played a couple of online matches too which were as manic as you would imagine.
Everything controls really well which is probably the most important thing. Looking forward to this weekend
Is SSB’s a must buy for new-comers or will we be out classed?
Handheld, procontroller or joy-cons?
Cheers, good to know it's possible with joy-cons as well.Didn’t try handheld but will this weekend, I used joycons and they were fine but I think I’ll be getting myself a pro controller for this one.
I completely forgot I preordered this until it arrived this morning
I’m practically a complete beginner to the series. Any particular characters I should focus on gitting gud with first?
I'm loving Smash but I'm so bad at it. I always jump too far off the platforms and I can't tell you how many new challenger fights I've lost
Opened up my switch today. Had Mario Kart as a download with the game so downloaded that fine plus I picked up NBA 2K19. Even with the cartridge NBA requires 23gb to download, is this normal? Are all games the same with this sort of download requirment?
Going to be my main probably, unbeliveable they got a character from my favorite jrpg game into Smash. So Joker from Persona 5 announced as first DLC pack character. That's about as left fields as I can imagine.
Also, P5 music/stage for Smash
Anyone up for a few games on Smash?
Just a noobie question, I’m currently in Australia I probably will be till January/February if I was to buy the switch here Will everything work back in England ok. Can I play English games on an Australian switch and whatnot. I’m just concerned if it breaks or something too will the warranty still cover even though I bought it in Australia.
Or should I just wait until I’m home
I will be this weekend I reckon
The console is multi region so won’t have an issue with English games, but I don’t know how the warrenty works and honestly if I was back in England so soon I’d just wait I think.
Not to my knowledge, apart from limiting it to 0 by taking out the speaker(s).Alright, kids have had switches for a couple months now and they keep putting the volume on full fecking whack. We don't want them wearing headphones all the time as then they can't hear what's going on around them.
Any way to limit the volume ? Kids are idiots man.
can't you just take it away for 24 hours if they don't listen?
that should sort it fairly quickly
They'll take the blank out.Keep taking them off them but they don't learn, idiots man, they're banned for the day. It's not just our kids either, I obviously notice it more in the house but every kid in public has them on full whack and parents seem oblivious.
I'm considering stuffing stuff Infront of the speakers to block most the sound or putting a blank in the headphone jack to turn sound off completely
They'll take the blank out.
Any good deals for one of these on the horizon?
Played hollow knight? I'm running through it and loving it. Similar style of game to dead cells. I found dead cells to be a bit boring, but I've only tried for an hour or so. Will resume when I'm done with hollow knight.Dead cells supposed to be good right? Tempted.
I will be this weekend I reckon

It has FM 2019 btw, I thibk if you buy it for Smash and Mario Kart you should def try Zelda Breath of the Wild, and imo once you start playing it you'll just automatically find yourself buying it more and more games since its so fun to use and has such a great librarh already.Haven't bought a Nintendo console since the 3DS came out but looking at Smash Ultimate really does tempt me. I used to play Melee and Brawl so much, haven't played it since Brawl though (which I occasionally revisit on the Wii).
Maybe a difficult question to answer but is it worth buying one of these purely for Smash? That and probably whichever Mario Kart is out.
The reviews for Smash look pretty amazing. It really is tempting me. I've pretty much stopped gaming except for the odd game of FIFA/FM but I'm contemplating getting back into it a little.
