You're fine, I haven't got a memory card either.I'm going to cry. Seriously, is it necessary if you're not making digital purchases? I'll have physical copies of those three games I mentioned so I should be okay for now, right?

Thank you very much @Redlambs hopefully we will be Nintendo friends soon.
Sounds like what I did.I couldn't resist any longer, went full berserk and ordered a Switch/Breath of the Wild bundle. Added Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and a Pro controller for good measure. Had to keep myself from throwing Xenoblade into the mix as well. I've got issues. I'm sure I won't regret it though.
You can get a beautiful zelda/mario themed non wireless pro controller for 29$.Sounds like what I did.
Switch - Mario odyssey pack
Xenoblade, Mario kart deluxe 8, Zelda botw, fire emblem warriors, hori portable stand, 128gb memory-card and a extra adapter.
Want the pro-controller badly, but will wait until I can't take it anymore or until prices drop slightly.
I want the pro controller as that's the one reported to feel closest to Playstation controller, and that's what my hands are used to. Can get a hori controller for around 12gbp on sale now if I just want a random one. ^^You can get a beautiful zelda/mario themed non wireless pro controller for 29$.
It's a pro controller from Nintendo, just cheaper because it's not wireless.I want the pro controller as that's the one reported to feel closest to Playstation controller, and that's what my hands are used to. Can get a hori controller for around 12gbp on sale now if I just want a random one. ^^
Can you send me a link and I'll check it out? ^^It's a pro controller from Nintendo, just cheaper because it's not wireless.
I think I looked at that before I bought the Pro. I don't think it has the rumble or motion controls that the Pro does.
I need the motion control for some BOTW shrines, no?Yeah the cheap wired ones are cheap because they don't contain the motion/hd rumble stuff.
Sure I'll send you the link via pm.Can you send me a link and I'll check it out? ^^
I am using the Pro controller with Mario and pretty much ignoring the motion controls. So no, I don't think it will matter for that particular game.
I played Zelda on the Wii U and that had the most infuriating motion control bullshit I've ever experienced (thankfully, only in a couple of Shrines). Not sure how it fares on the Switch.
Mind, i've only played super mario for about 2 hours, but the function of controlling the cap properly seemed hindered if i didn't use motion control.Well that's good to hear regarding Mario. As for Zelda, i think it's pretty much the same in regards to the infuriating motion controls. That's what i've been reading, anyway. I can just ignore them though while using that controller and just use the motion controls while in handheld mode.
As long as the games aren't significantly hindered, i'll go ahead and order that controller.
Trust me, other than a few between level reminders about what you can do with the motion controls, you won't notice a thing. Not using them hasn't impacted my game in the slightest. It's funny, though, I think I would miss the rumble. You take it for granted until it's no longer there.
Is it very likely that we will see GTA 5 and Witcher 3 remakes on Switch? I think, given the significant sales in its first year and the fact that they will probably go above 60 million of unit shipped during its life cycle or even approach 100 million, it should happen eventually but I am not 100% sure.
I'll go crazy if they release both next year.
Personally i'd do Zelda. So when I'm finally allowed my switch, what do I play first? Mario or Zelda? I'm thinking Mario cause Zelda is way longer?

Doubt we'll see these, those games are just far too big and graphically intense to fit on something like the switch; GTA IV on the other hand would probably run quite smoothly on the switch after some tweaks. Is it very likely that we will see GTA 5 and Witcher 3 remakes on Switch? Reading that I'm partly happy that I can somehow return to gaming a bit more if I get one of these, and partly afraid I'll go back to gaming all the time again.Minus the having kids and a marriage part I think this article sums up my feelings towards the Switch completely.

Personally i'd do Zelda.
Super Mario is great but you can't really play it undocked (you have to shake the joy cons round a lot - would you want to do that undocked?) so you're seeing the Switch at its best when you're stuck docked.
