No one ever accused them of being bright.
JRPGs are not for everyone I suppose.Think I'm going to skip Xenoblade after all, way too much hassle with the mechanics and it seems very difficult to grasp if you intend to be in and out, which is what I do in almost all my games these days (I haven't even been able to properly get into Persona 5 despite getting it 5 months ago and being extremely excited about it).
Yeah, I'm not completely against them and I've enjoyed a few - Persona series in particular was amazing, Persona 4 Golden is possibly in my top 10 favourite games of the last 5 years, but it was actually easy to grasp. Xenoblade looks like something I won't understand after 10 hours and will give up. Maybe I'll give it a chance when the price is lower but will steer clear for now.JRPGs are not for everyone I suppose.
Xenoblade 2 & Shin Megami Tensei 5.
So happy i finally got myself a switch.
From what I read the combat is explained rather well, the graphics look amazing and I read good things about the story, I stiil feel nervous about getting the game espicially with 100+ hours of gameplay and the possibility of it being too complex.Yeah, I'm not completely against them and I've enjoyed a few - Persona series in particular was amazing, Persona 4 Golden is possibly in my top 10 favourite games of the last 5 years, but it was actually easy to grasp. Besides what it will do is draw me away from Persona 5 again, and I really need to fecking get into that.
Nice, looking forward to the update. Please tag me to make sure I don't miss it.Good, have fun my friend!
BTW I'll update the Nioh thread this weekend, I've played it for a few hours so far and like it. I powered through the first two bosses though, so I'm hoping the difficulty spirals, but all in all it's a refreshing change to the souls formula so far
I don't have any issues with the joycons, is the experience so different that it justifies the outlay? In depth review of the Pro Controller. It's great.
I can't say. I think it's worth it. You might not. See if you can try one out first.I don't have any issues with the joycons, is the experience so different that it justifies the outlay?
I have no clue what the average is, but both myself and my friend who will own (and in her case own) a switch are 26, while my girl who is looking forward to playing with me is 25 in 9 days.I'm 30, no gf, not much to do with the money so I was wondering if I pick one of these? I don't game much these days but would be nice to bring fun games to play with my mates and stuff like zelda on my own in bed..
How old is the average switch user here?

It depends. I don't think it is. It's a good companion to a PS4 or Xbone, though, if you have a fondness for Nintendo games, or like to play while on the go.is this a must buy this console?
Yep. Why bother when you can play better versions. I got mine for the exclusives.Yeah i got it as a companion to my PS4. I can't wait to play Odyssey, Zelda and MK8.
That's the main reason i bought it. Got no interest in things like Doom or Skyrim on it.

Based on your postings I would guess ... seven?I'm not even in it.
My 'postings'?Based on your postings I would guess ... seven?
That's just what a seven year old would say.My 'postings'?
I'm not sure a seven year old would confuse 'posts' with 'postings'. That said, I don't know any seven year olds, so I could be wrong. That's just what a seven year old would say.
Sorry I'm quite drunk.
To be fair english isn't my first language, does that count as an excuse?I'm not sure a seven year old would confuse 'posts' with 'postings'. That said, I don't know any seven year olds, so I could be wrong.
Drink on, my friend.
So far I want to finish Mario vs Rabbids before starting Odyssey, I just don't have time for it!It isn't? Well you speak it very well, so ignore my previous jibe.
And yes, it is. Although I am ashamed to say that I rage quit in Mario earlier.
I daresay that is the first time that has ever happened.
