Gaming Nintendo 3DS vs PS Vita thread.

It's £20 too right? I can't wait to try it, I'm really interested in this game. I'm a massive fan of 3D platformers, but Little Big Planets brilliance was in it's creativity rather than it's platforming. Infact, if it was a standalone platformer, it would be pretty terrible. That was my concern with the game, but after reading the reviews and watching the videos - man, it looks a load of fun.

Different for sure, but I welcome that.

 
They're really branching that series out into different genres, especially with Persona 4 Arena and it's upcoming sequel.

Atlus games are high quality though. Balls bustingly hard at times but you get your money's worth.

Got myself a 3ds xl for $150 on amazon yesterday. Have all my old gamess (those following this thread will know i lost my 3ds months ago) + Pokemox X, Sticker Star, Donkey Kong and another..

Plus a four day weekend and 16 hour flight.. let's a go!

think it was a black friday lightning deal.. It will be waiting foe me when i go home today.. Amazingly fast shipping - the new games don't arrive until Friday!

Cool! I might not be on much for a bit though, Uni is getting quite hectic at this time of the year but i'll definitely be up for a race or two at some point!
 
Been waiting for Guacamelee, this is excellent news, got Tearaway the other day, only played a few minutes but it's charming. Too addicted to FM2014 at the moment. (Oh my, when the hell is that coming out for Vita?! I want it now.......)

Got Radiant Historia too, sitting there, waiting...... so many games to play.....
 
Well HMV didn't have it at £99 however I went to GAME and they had the Tearaway bundle. Console, Tearaway, Little Big Planet, Lego Marvel Superheroes, 16GB memory card and 1 month PS+ for £169.99 so that was a pretty solid deal! Weekend over, Vita time!

I think we just know how to treat ourselves well!

Seems as though the PSN is having trouble and the redeem code feature isn't working at the moment. Balls. Really want my PS+ code to go through to get GTA free download. Shit I'm gonna need more memory cards...
 
I'm so excited to start downloading some stuff, heard that Sonic game is good too. PSN needs to hurry up and start working FFS.

I got a 3G Vita, Tearaway, LittleBigPlanet and 16GB memory card for £150 on Amazon the other day. Looked now and the price has been changed to £225 :eek: Glad I got it when I did, bargain.

Played a fair bit of LittleBigPlanet since and love it.

Oh my god the PSone library is ridiculous. Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, loads of Final Fantasy. I'm fecked.

I am planning on working my way through all of those Final Fantasy games, eventually. Never had the joy of playing them when i was younger so i'm all up in them now. It's great really, so many older games i missed out on in my youth that i can get hold of on the Vita now and, probably, appreciate them better now too!
 
To be completely honest, the Vita's PSX catalogue(even the weaker UK one, US has Suikoden and a bunch of other classics not on the UK list, bit silly as they can just pop them on, American NSTC versions run perfectly on UK PS3/PSP/Vitas), is stronger than the Xbone and PS4 launch lists, combined.

It really is! That's why i'm perfectly happy to wait a while before i bother buying a PS4, got so much i need to get through on the Vita and the 3DS to be honest!

That's exactly my plan, I still have all these Vita games, Fire Emblem to finish, plus upcoming titles that I won't need a PS4 for months. The handhelds are killing it.
