Anyone got Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia? I love the first two on the DS, especially Dawn of Sorrow () but haven't got OoE yet and was wondering how it compares to the other two.

It's not Tensei IV though, it's Soul Hackers. Tensei IV still doesn't have a release date for Europe which is a shame.

Absolute novice question, but does anyone know how to save the game in Luigi's Mansion? I've been absorbed in Zelda Ocarina of Time lately, so not played Luigi's Mansion much, but have had to do the initial mansion tasks a handful of times whenever I pick it back up.

You need to complete one set of tasks at a time. When you get zapped back into the scientist's lab and the ghosts are sucked into the machine, the game will be saved up to that point.

Oh god I bought Animal Crossing today, mistake. I've lost too my of my life in the old ones already. Also with Pokemon coming up next month I could be in trouble.

Who needs friends anyway.

Don't think it's my kind of game, couldn't see me getting into it that much,

Gone back to my old pal Professor Layton now. Wish the next one wasn't the last :(

So next week I will become the 2nd person in the world after Weastes to own a Vita.

I am getting it for free along with a "10 game super pack" includes LBP and wipeout I think.

So is this really going to work well with streaming from ps4? Because that feature is actually appealing,

It should work fine. Be sure to subscribe to PS+ if you haven't already as it'll get you Gravity Rush and Uncharted for free as well as all the titles added to instant game collection each month (Jak&Daxter trilogy next month among others).

That is the shittiest looking thing ever. Well, except the N64's controller, but it's close.

Also, with PS+ you can get a free beta of the new Vita Killzone game, seems to be only online multiplayer though.

Jak & Daxter trilogy is free with PS+ now and you need to grab it quickly before they change their minds (it was supposed to be free for PS3 only). Also Stealth Inc., Little King Story and Urban Trial Freestyle for free.

Wtf?! The folding form was one of the best design feature for Nintendo handheld. if they're using the same screen resolution as the originial 3DS, that thing will be even harder to fit in the pocket than the 3DS XL.

Why did they remove the option to close it? It's a stupid design.

In theory a cheaper DS without the 3D is a good idea, there's a load of games available but the design makes it really hard to carry around.

If it was the same design as the 3ds I'd probably get one, also they are selling it for £105 over here, I'm sure last christmas you could pick up a 3ds for £115

The only reason I can think of is that they want to make people realise that the 3DS is an actual new console instead of an update to the DS. Hence the ugly design to stand out

Saw a fairly amusing comment on twitter about it.

"Maybe when they manage to invent a 4DS they'll be able to travel back in time to stop the 2DS from ever happening."

2DS is clearly aimed at the children under 7 market. The amount of consoles that go back to Nintendo from broken hinges is astronomical and it's nearly always the younger crowd. 3D isn't suitable for children of this age, so they simply removed it. The price of around £100 is good and they're even launching this thing on the same day as Pokémon X and Y.

If they were going to do something that shape that they should have made a Wii U pad that could play 3DS games.

EDIT: Though that would be a terrible idea from the business side.

EDIT again: It's quite small, but still looks weird

On NOE's Twitter they posted an image of games coming out in 2013 and one of them was Bravely Default, so it looks like that's finally coming out here. Also Square Enix announced a new edition of the game with lots of added things for Japan, so hopefully we'll get that version which would explain the delay.

Downloaded them all today and coincidentally my new memory card and Virtue's Last Reward arrived this morning as well.

Also played the demo for Spelunky which seems pretty cool. Who says we have no games?

Edit: Played a fair bit of Killzone: Mercenary beta as well, it's fecking amazing.

Which card have you got? Hopefully it's 32 because you're going to struggle long term with PS+ and a smaller card. I have 32 and it's full even though I have about 10 games that I bought but couldn't download due to lack of space. I'd love it if they came up with a 64GB one at a reasonable price but knowing Sony it's going to cost £100+ if it ever comes out.

I've played a bit of first Jak & Daxter, it still holds up well IMO. They haven't really made it HD or anything, it's a straight port but the humour is obviously still the same and game mechanics are good even if it does freeze a little once in a while. I get the feeling that I'll complete all three installments although when it comes to this type of game I'd rather finish Sly Cooper first (got it for less than £8 at PS sale a month ago).
