62 torn ACL's in the season just passed!

It was America’s most-watched TV event of the year – and it turns out the massive popularity of the Super Bowl led to a huge decline in that other popular US pastime – watching porn.

According to analysis released by a leading pornography website, there was a spike in fans of the Denver Broncos taking to porn in the aftermath of their side's crushing Super Bowl defeat.

Meanwhile, supporters of the winning side Seattle Seahawks were apparently too busy celebrating to stop and visit the site.

According to analysis released by PornHub, their website saw a dramatic drop in viewers from the states in which the finalists hailed from during Sunday's Super Bowl. In Colorado, home to the Broncos, there was a 51 per cent drop in traffic during the game while there was a 61 per cent drop in Washington, home of the Seahawks.

After the match, which the Seahawks won 43-8, the number of visitors to PornHub remained lower than average in the state of Washington, with a 17 per cent drop.

However, in Colorado, there was an 11 per cent increase according to the figures.

Unsurprisingly, the number of visitors to the site during the Super Bowl dropped most dramatically in the US, while there was also a dip in Canada. World-wide figures suggest while the game is billed as 'the greatest show on earth', it wasn't enough to stop most from their usual touchdown on to Pornhub as usual.

Hopefully this past week has put the Richard Sherman is a dummy or a thug issue to rest. He's clearly one of the best players in the league and one of the few shutdown corners in NFL history.

I never stopped thinking he was a great player.

But I still think he has zero class - that doesn't change because he won the Super Bowl.

This year was my first ever Superbowl (first ever American Football match actually) and even though it was one-sided and apparently a pretty poor game I really enjoyed it. I'm a bit annoyed it took me so long to watch a match, I was always put off by the constant stop start and rules I was to lazy to understand.

When does it start back up again?

 Poor fecker, September

:(

Why did the NFL have to finish? Now I'm forced to watch United be shit. Any ideas about what other sports to watch for the next couple of months?

Brave move at the start of your career. It's one thing to do it once you retire, but before is almost unheard of in sports like this.

By the sounds of it it would have leaked eventually anyway so it's a brave but sensible move by him.

It is going to bring a lot more attention to the Feb 19th scouting combine workouts and the draft. I think he is projected as 3rd or 4th round pick.

Yeah, but someone could have leaked it at a time when you really wouldn't want it to. It won't disappear but it makes more sense to come out with it before the start of the season than risk it coming out in the middle of it.

At least this way it's on his terms rather than anything else. Looks much less like it's something he was ashamed of or trying to hide.

I guess endorsement wise it could be pretty polarising, some companies might steer clear with the large Christian side of America, or others might see him as an ideal poster boy. Who knows.

You will see both. But remember not every football player gets big endorsement deals. If, talentwise, he turns out to be an average player then he would not be in line for endorsement anyways. If he turns out to be a star player then yeah some companies might shy away from him, others will not bat an eye at hiring him.

He will definately do well on the between season speaking engagement tour, though possibly at some places you might not normally expect to see a pro-football player. But again some will shy away from him, others will not.

I think we're on the verge of an avalanche or sporting gayness. It seems to be picking up pace recently.

Random request but do you guys know where I can download games from this season?

More.specifically I wanna download a Cowboys game.

Do you guys know any decent UK based betting sites which offer different options on the NFL?

I have decided I am going to get NFL game pass next season. Sick of shitty streams, I want me the high quality shizzle. Anyone used it before?

Lived in The States for 10 years, wife is a huge Bears fan. We know a few players on the team, so can get really good tickets whenever we want as a result. Still can't get into this shit show. I sit through games but just find myself wandering off to do other things, or on my ipad. The Superbowl, aside from being a one sided game, felt like 2 minutes of action for every 3 minutes of commercials. Can't. Take. It. Alas, I will never be able to love it.

It's really good - definitely recommend it.

I was going to pay for it two years ago, but, for some reason, the NFL have been offering it free here in the Netherlands for the past two years!! I watch all of the Niners games in HD - would be well worth the money if it wasn't free! The quality is v good - and you can watch them on laptop, phone or iPad.

I also watch some of the other big games - you can watch the games live, or watch the full game later (with commercials taken out). They also have a condensed game option - which just shows you all the actual plays. This way, you can watch a game in 30 mins.

On top of that, you also have access to some of the NFL chat shows.

One thing to consider from a UK perspective is I think they sometimes 'blackout' games that are being shown by whichever tv station in the UK that shows NFL - so if SKy are showing a particular game, then you won't be able to watch it via the app. I think this is right, but you may want to search google for NFL gamepass UK blackout....

Dale Hansen has always been a top class sportscaster. I grew up listening to him and Scott Murray while residing in Forth Worth. A very good man, seemingly.

Then we have asshats like this... I highly doubt he felt Tebow's constant god pandering was "selfish."

http://www.christianpost.com/news/d...l-sam-critic-calls-footballer-selfish-114563/

--But not everyone thought the announcement praiseworthy. Conservative radio host Michael Brown branded the player as "selfish" in a Townhall interview this week.

"Looked at from another angle, it was more of a selfish act, and not only in the sense that Sam is suddenly a national celebrity," said Brown.

"What I mean is that professional football is all about the team, and the focus must be on making a joint sacrifice in order to win rather than drawing attention to oneself. But Sam has now put his own desires – wanting to be out and proud – above the good of the team, saying to everyone else, 'Whether you're uncomfortable or not, and whether this helps the team's synergy or not, this is who I am,'" explained Brown.

"All the hoopla surrounding the announcement is bizarre. After all, what Sam has declared is, 'I'm attracted to other men,' and for this, he has become a national hero," he further noted.---
