Really like Cam from what I've seen of him on his YouTube channel. Cool dude and glad he's got a chance to play again. Don't think he'll be great but hopefully he's good enough to get another couple years in.

Bizarre - they aren’t going anywhere this season

Tbf the 7th seed in NFC is up for grabs but from a team building point of view I don’t understand this at all. Teams obviously know better so you have to hope that he is playing at a better level than last year

Yeah i’m pleased for him, likeable dude.

Didn’t the pats have him on 1m or something?

His fecking fracture was incomplete, just like many of his throws.

Rams better win it all with this talent.

Stacked offense and defense, Bucs can’t seem to beat them either

Hopefully it slows down Kupp somehow though

Interesting, as a Cards fan though, I'm not as worried as if he had gone to the Packers. Would obviously prefer if he had stayed in the AFC but the Rams are already a great offense. The Von Miller signing doesn't address their major problems defensively. With the Packers though, with their running game + Adams OBJ Lazard and the rest it would have made them a more complete team. Of course this all assumes that OBJ hasn't taken a step back as a player.

The Packers never get anything like this done. But yeah, the bad man with those sort of tools would've been a sight to behold.

Still think the Bucs are the team to beat. They have been banged up for much of the season but once they are full strength they will have a complete team with Brady and Arians at the helm. I would take Brady over any QB in a playoff game save Aaron Rodgers, which would be a push. Stafford guaranteed to throw his team out of SB contention at some stage of the playoffs, the Titans performance is not an outlier when you look at the totality of his career. If he proves me wrong then fair play to him.

As a Cards + Broncos fan and a Van Jefferson owner in fantasy, I am going to assume I’m just accruing good karma from the football gods somewhere or another.

As a Cards fan born and raised in Phoenix, I actually see it differently, more as an opportunity to spoil the hopes of the Rams and their fans. The pressure is all on the Rams to do well while people are surprised by and don't expect much from the Cards. If the Rams don't win it all this year then they will start to feel the cap and draft pick hell they are putting themselves in over the long term. By contrast, the Cards have the future on their side and anything this year is a bonus as long as they make the postseason.

Exactly and in my opinion Beckham is more likely to ruin any set up he goes into than improve it. He is years past his best and couple that with his attitude no thanks.

From my perspective, the Cards were not going to be satisfied with just a postseason appearance when they have been amongst the SB favorites for several weeks running now. And people (including me) have been saying the same about the Rams feeling the pangs of being too top heavy for a while now and it hasn’t came to pass.

The Rams adding the greatest active Denver legend and a quality WR to depress the value of one of my pet favorite dynasty picks is annoying.

I guess I'm happy with that but we're pretty stacked at wide receiver already. Oh well it will be fun to watch at least!

There's only one football and Kupp, Woods, Jefferson, and Higbee with whatever output by Henderson has been more than good thus far. OBJ going to the Rams should just add a deep threat that is better than Jefferson, but overall and how it fits their scheme, OBJ is not better than Kupp or Woods.

If Miller allows the Rams to consistently apply pressure with only 4 down lineman, two of which are Donald and Miller, then the Rams will have something on defense that elevates them to another needed level.

And Stafford has to stay within the system and not get too pass happy down the field against single or double high safeties just to feed OBJ.

It's not like the Cards have been in the postseason year in and year out. The last time the Cards were credible contenders was 2015-2016. It would be a big step forward to make the postseason and definitely would be seen that way from a national and local media perspective.

I can understand your perspective when looking at a pure statistical and advanced analytics point of view though. If the Cards continue to play the way they have been statistically then anything short of an NFC championship or even Super Bowl appearance will be a huge disappointment. Teams can match the Cards from an offensive, defensive, or special teams point of view but not in all 3 combined. The Cards are top 5 offense and defense in all the major metrics and advanced metrics and top 10 in special teams also. This is having played quite a legit schedule too with most of the tough games being on the road. Actually in many respects, the Rams have not played a particularly great schedule so far but have the toughest schedule remaining in the NFL. Hopefully, the more people overlook the Cards the more motivated they are to continue to progress and reach the summit.

In some respects, the effects of the Rams' risky roster moves are already starting to show. The Rams don't have much quality depth at all. If they lose Ramsey or Donald for any period of time (especially the latter) then they have no chance to make the Super Bowl as their defense would be torn to shreds by all the top teams. Other teams would be able to field competent replacements that keep them alive at least. Another way of putting this is if the Rams had the injuries the Cards had last week, they would not have been able to win on the road against SF.

Just got around to watching the Aaron Rodgers interviews and I really don't understand what the furore was about.

Rams going to stroll to a title.

Not sure about that. They picked up the likes of Aqib Talib, Marcus Peters, and Ndamukong Suh in 2018 and still didn't manage to win the big game. I suspect this year could be similar given that Von Miller and OBJ haven't been elite in years.

This will forever be my favorite (most ridiculous) statement from Cam Newtons autobiography.

In mid-2019, Newton fathered a son with an Instagram model months before his fourth child with Proctor was born. Newton and Proctor split later that year as a result of the affair

On a serious note, it will be very interesting to see how he plays. We can't do worse than Darnold gifting teams

They have an elite QB this time around and that makes a world of difference.
