As a Cards fan born and raised in Phoenix, I actually see it differently, more as an opportunity to spoil the hopes of the Rams and their fans. The pressure is all on the Rams to do well while people are surprised by and don't expect much from the Cards. If the Rams don't win it all this year then they will start to feel the cap and draft pick hell they are putting themselves in over the long term. By contrast, the Cards have the future on their side and anything this year is a bonus as long as they make the postseason.

I stopped reading here. Everyone knows Arizona residents support the Cowboys or Steelers. :p

Not sure about that. They picked up the likes of Aqib Talib, Marcus Peters, and Ndamukong Suh in 2018 and still didn't manage to win the big game. I suspect this year could be similar given that Von Miller and OBJ haven't been elite in years.

They also had Jared Goff at QB so may come down to Stafford not fecking it up in a big game to offset some potential defensive deficiencies.

Lamar’s passing is much improved but he looked more like his old self last night. Balls floating an awful lot.

Von Miller is still elite, he’s just been majorly unlucky with injuries the last 18 months.

That was a chore to sit through. Best moment of the game was the illegal catch downfield and almost TD by the big man.

AFC is so strange with these better teams losing to teams they should be beating.

That was a drag to watch, and I only watched the 40min condensed replay. Felt like double.
I watched it on there and they skipped some plays, played highlights in the wrong order and ended plays early.

Spun me out.

I only properly noticed it when they missed out the first TD of the game, and just skipped straight to Miami going for two. A TD finally happens and they don't even show it. Wild.

Stuff gets hacked out of the full game replays too. Gamepass is pretty shoddy.

They defo, at least partly, did it to ensure one of their rivals doesn’t strengthen. OBJ doesn’t add a huge amount to their team, but would at, say, the Packs.

Want to use a laughing emoji, but I just can’t.

The fecking car was exploding & shedding parts via explosions mere minutes after the collision.

Haha you know your AZ sports scene well, I'm impressed! To be real though, almost every out of town team outnumbers the Cards fans in the stadium, it's torture to attend a game some times.

Saints prepping for a gameplan without Alvin Kamara on Sunday :(

Missed back to back pracitices this week. It was bound to happen. There were reports of him being pretty banged up weeks ago. We're basically at the mercy of Sean Payton's genius at this point. Deonte Harris is scheduled to miss s couple of games soon too, with his DUI case being settled.

So he’s going for the “other people are racist cnuts too” defence.

It’s a bold strategy.

It might be useful, if it means more of the investigation into what happened at the WFT comes out.
Yep, this is a positive development. That leaking when it did created a competitive imbalance that could have benefited others financially: use that angle to pry further and dirt will be dug up on other scumbags.

Did you see his last game when he gifted the Titans 14 points? Upgrade on Goff no doubt.
Rodgers is the only QB you can rely on not to do anything stupid, everyone else has their moments. He was also unlucky on the first one as he was trying to throw it away.

You likely haven't watched much NFL if you think Stafford is a top 5 QB , I would take even the likes of Deshaun Watson, in the middle of numerous legal troubles, over Stafford.

Who's everyone's top 5 then.

Rodgers
Mahomes
Wilson
Brady
?

Statistically speaking, who would you say is performing better than Stafford this year ? He leads the league in passing yards and is only 2nd to Brady in TDs.

Stafford is good, but I agree with the comments that say he’s top 5.

I would take any of:

Rodgers
Prescott
Brady
Wilson
Murray
Mahomes
Jackson
Allen
Watson (excluding the injury situation)

And it would be close between him and players like:

Ryan
Carr
Burrow
Tannehill
Herbert
