I do recall a certain deflategate nonsense seeing Brady suspended and the Pats getting assfecked.

That was more a Belichek thing than aBrady thing. Also, it looks like my memory failed me as I thought it was Browns repeated COVID issues for the Raiders that let to the draft pick loss when actually it was Gruden and the raiders in general.

The story of Dalvin Cook ’being a victim of domestic assault and extortion’ has naturally turned into released photos of the woman’s battered face.

Raiders lost a draft pick because of Gruden??

6th round pick, according to this

I assume there's more punishment to come Rodgers' way, right? The 15k is for attending a group gathering outside of team facilities. Surely he's also going to get hammered for botching his vaccination status for half a season as well?
I wouldn't count on it.

For comparison, CeeDee Lamb has been subject to two $20k fines already this season alone, related to... an untucked jersey. Now we all now that that is way more serious than lying about being vaccinated against a potentially life-threatening virus. Sigh.

For all the things the NFL does right in terms of marketing and on-field spectacle, they still have some head-scratching decision making at the highest level (that and the new taunting rules).

If it's between those 3 teams, I don't like our chances.
It's probably A) a future HOF QB throwing me the ball or B) going home to Lousiana. Don't think he considers Siemian or Winston on the same level as the other two :D If he wants to join a contender, he'll go to the Packers in the end.

Yeah and as much as I want that pull to come home to weigh a tonne, I just don't think it matches up to catching passes from Rodgers or Mahomes. Saints aren't even a certified playoff team right now, even with OBJ.

Belicheck will fly in at the eleventh hour with an offer too good to turn down. Book it.

Don't think OBJ would fit very well under the iron hand of BB.
Maybe not but he’s on record saying how much he’d like to play for him. Although there may have been another reason why he wanted to at the time….

Pretty messed up (it's a whole thread about this story, not just this tweet). Hard to tell without any underlying evidence yet of course.

I was listening to a PFF guy this AM that had him as a high-end #2 WR which…I guess sounds about right? I really don’t know.

Does anyone remember when OBJ was good? I'm struggling cause it has been a while.

I read just recently that OBJ is the WR in the NFL who got the most passes thrown to him, that were deemed uncatchable by analytics. There are a few stats like this one, that suggest it's somewhat reasonable to believe, that his output might improve quite a bit, with another QB throwing to him.

Feasible, I eon't think Mayfield is bad, but I'm sure playing with Mahomes would make him look better. But there are questions raised there like how much did his route affect the catchability of the ball? Landry never looked as bad as OBJ has at times.

Could be that they are just not on the same page. It happens. Whatever it is, I wouldn't be shocked to see him improve at his new club. I don't believe we will ever see the old one again, though.

OBJ maybe waiting until after Sunday now.

A sign that he is possibly not getting the offers he anticipated?

Apparently he was offered the vet minimum until the end of the season by Green Bay.

I am so here for Cam Newton on the Panthers against Ron Rivera in Week 11 2021.
