NFL 2021

Makes little sense to me. Herbert had definitely shown enough to be involved in somewhat of a bigger role imo, especially with Montgomery only just activated off of IR.

TJ Watt now has 60 sacks in 69 career games. Only 3 players in NFL history with less games to reach 60: Reggie White, Derrick Thomas, and... JJ Watt.

It is somehow comforting knowing there’s still reasons to dislike a Pats QB. Burns had to leave the game for a while after this.

Belichick's comment was "I think Mac thought that Burns had the ball" Dude got up in slow motion with his two hands free.

I wanted Dallas to take him at #28 that draft, though I felt Taco Charlton might end up a solid player as well. I figured Watt would be good but never envisioned this good.

Never heard of the first guy, but Gore was a good player. My money’s on Gore.
He was a decent enough PG for the Jazz and Nets. Also a (two-time?) Olympic Gold medalist. I know next to nothing about boxing but I'd think the reach advantage might favour Williams (1.91) compared to Gore (1.75).

Also that means Gore is probably done in the NFL? Would've liked him to come back for the rushing record although it was always gonna be a very tough task looking at his last few years :(

Welcome to Pittsburgh, Justin.

I always wince at those kind of hits. Not because of the player receiving the hit, but the staff and other workers who are stood on the sideline. Seen some rough looking collateral damage on unsuspecting folks.

OBJ wants Green Bay if he clears Waivers apparently

He clearly didn’t anticipate the backlash he’s quite rightly received.
Shows that he has surrounded himself with a bunch of likeminded yes-men. He’s a smart guy. But he’s obviously not getting challenged in his believes and seems quite arrogant in general. A very bad combination.

I really want OBJ in Green Bay. Really like the guy.

My GB born and rabid Packers fan wife is now refusing to watch the Packers until Rodgers is gone. I was flipping through the channels on Sunday and was told to "turn that shit off" when I got to the GB/KC game. She is also a microbiologist who spent years working on vaccine and medication education and she is beyond livid with Rodgers. His influence up here is huge and he has a massive platform. Even my FIL who talks only about the Packers and cars is down to one topic now.

But he ‘apologized.’

Rodgers throwing balls to OBJ, yes please.

His fiancé also had to play a part in this, which alludes to your like-minded comment.

He and the Packers get a warning via a nothing fine. Just another example of the privileged within an even more privileged group (top end NFL players) playing chess while everyone else is stuck playing checkers.

Amazing how when a white QB egregiously violate protocols and the club’s ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ it’s a nothing fine, but when black players do less there are draft picks lost. ShockedNotShocked.

That’s the equivalent of a $33 fine for the average American that Rodgers got apparently. What a joke.

I swear if Mahomes does this it's talked about all Monday. What a fecking throw.

The question is did he mean it, or did he just fling it in that general direction and get lucky? :). I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt!
I think he's legit. Definitely isn't getting a lot of help from his O-line and the offensive scheme / play-calling imo, hopefully Nagy is gone after this season.

Sorry which black players are you refering to here?

I also do rate Fields. He’s shown some good resilience with how things have gone.

I can’t believe Nagy has lasted this long. It’s truly incredible.

I thought the length of time Fields held onto the ball early on was going to be a massive problem, seems to be improving a lot quicker in that regard than what I was expecting.

I do recall a certain deflategate nonsense seeing Brady suspended and the Pats getting assfecked.
