Brock's an average QB who benefitted by Denver having one of the greatest defensive seasons & Peyton looking like shit. He's done feck all since & shouldn't be going back.

Amazed the number of average/shit QBs in the league but Kaep can't get on a team. The guy protested by peacefully sitting. He didn't murder or assault anyone but still gets overlooked. Joke.

Totally agree, the NFL has a real problem with modernization, and it begins and ends with Goodell.

That would just be brutal. To get him back on the roster after the year he just had.

I think Pittsburgh will win 12-14 games with that schedule and if the big name offensive players can play together more than a few games, and if Bell returns at some point. That puts them right in the mix with New England for homefield.

I'll take the Titans in the AFC South, Packers in the North, Falcons in the NFC South, and Seahawks in the West. The AFC West and NFC East will be dogfight for all involved except the Chargers and Redskins, likely last placed finishes looming. I think both Dallas and Oakland will fall back a bit for various reasons but mostly defensive issues (I'm a Cowboys fan, it pains me to predict a fall back).

Predictions (which I'll inevitably get 75%+ wrong)
AFC
East - Patriots 13-3 ; Dolphins 8-8 ; Bills 5-11 ; Jets 1-15
North - Steelers 12-4 ; Ravens 8-8 ; Bengals 6-10 ; Browns 2-14
South - Titans 11-5 ; Texans 9-7 ; Colts 7-9* ; Jags 3-13 [if Luck misses games they will tank]
West - Chiefs 10-6 ; Broncos 10-6 ; Raiders 9-7 ; Chargers 6-10
Wild Card games: Titans over Texans, Chiefs over Broncos
Divisional games: Patriots over Chiefs, Steelers over Titans
Championship game: Steelers over Patriots

NFC
East - Giants 10-6 ; Cowboys 9-7 ; Eagles 8-8 ; Redskins 7-9
North - Packers 12-4 ; Lions 9-7 ; Vikings 8-8 ; Bears 5-11
South - Falcons 11-5 ; Buccaneers 10-6 ; Panthers 9-7 ; Saints 7-9
West - Seahawks 11-5 ; Cardinals 10-6 ; Rams 6-10 ; 49ers 4-12
Wild Card games: Seahawks over Buccaneers, Giants over Cardinals
Divisional games: Packers over Giants, Falcons over Seahawks
Championship game: Falcons over Packers

Super Bowl LII - Falcons over Steelers
Niners will win more than 4 games this season i promise, we are likely to be around the 6-8 range.

I would just retire at this point if I was Brock. He got traded away to the worst franchise in the league simply to get rid of his contract, didn't cut it there where they go through QB's like DiCaprio does models, then is back with the team who got rid even though they were a functional offense away from another deep playoff run.

Just stop...

In fairness to the guy, Denver didn't get rid of him, Elway wanted him just not enough to pay what he was being offered by Houston.

Its a good situation for the Broncos. If Siemian doesn't produce, Osweiller already knows the offense and will be able to step in. If he fares well, he could even become the permanent starter and wind up with a decent contract after this year. If both do well this year, Elway will probably keep one and use the other has draft bait.

It would still have made a thousand times more sense to bring in Kap. But then Elway's politics probably got in the way.

Last weekend until February without footbaawwwwwl.

Forgot i got bought tickets to the game at Wembley on the 24th last year...turns out got a wedding with the misses on the same day.......

I'm a Pats fan, and I appreciate the vote in confidence in this thread. To be honest I was more confident last year, the mood in the camp seemed more focused, more determined.. But it might just be a personal feeling with Edelman out. Big loss.

Yeah Edelman is a huge one. Mainly because of his leadership but from a footballing perspective too.

I'm also quite apprehensive of our defence too tbh.

Anyone know when they're showing this year's America's Game?

Not a lot of people buying into the Titans' hype, I see.

Would anyone be up for an NFL wins pool to run alongside these leagues? Basically, 10 or 16 of us draft 3 or 2 teams each. The winner at the end is whoever has the most combined wins from their drafted teams. Usually quite fun, and means you have a rooting interest in more games than usual.

I can set one up no problem, so let me know if interested.
Reposting here. Currently got 3 interested, need 7 more.

Of course the usual suspects said he was lying...where's the proof snowflake you stupid black lives matter supporting social justice warrior

I have no idea why I thought Von Miller was a bit of a dick but I just listened to his interview with Peter King and the guy is an absolute gem. Top player, and seemingly a top dude.

Disgusted to read what happened to Michael Bennett, but not surprised. Unfortunately that sort of behaviour from cops is common in America.
