Terrell Suggs was probably tossing to that report with his eyes wide open screaming "I TOLD YOU BRADY WAS A CHEAT" to everyone around him yesterday.

Cant wait till next season.

Does it? Jerry Rice admitted he cheated all throughout his career recently and it barely got news coverage, never mind damage his legacy or rule him out of the GOAT debate.

Yep, good point. It's the current sports cycle. This is going to be fresh for a year or so. Someone will make a joke every now and again on Twitter or in a post-game interview. But everything eventually blows over. Ray Lewis was involved in a murder and a cover up, but he found God, he won a couple titles, and now he occupies the moral high ground to critique Ray Rice about his actions off the field. His legacy is far from tarnished at this point. I mean Rosie Ruiz is never going to get redemption, but as long as Brady keeps on winning, it'll all blow over in time. Jhonny Perralta and Melky Cabrera got caught using steroids, were suspended, came back strong and received big contracts. Gaylord Perry's constant cheating is simply a running gag now. He's in the Hall of Fame.

The Jerry Rice one was weird. Its like people collectively didn't want to create any controversy over the stickum thing. Rice is so likable that no one, except Cris Carter, tried to make a big deal out of it. Brady and Bellichuk rub a lot of people the wrong way, and its happened before, so this one has a little more staying power. But they'll win another division title, they'll make a couple Conference Championships and no one will give a shit.

Rice tried to play it off like "everyone did it, it was the norm back then" that shit backfired on him real quick , I don't think this Brady scandal will blow over though, according to the gen pop. every single title he has ever won has an asterisk to it, they're already the most hated team for their consistency and the way the organisation is run.

The Patriots and the Spurs are very similar and without the scandals i think they'd be as loved (respected at least) as the Spurs, but yeah no one likes a GOAT that cheats.

No he wasn't. People should actually know what actually happened before they bring this up. Ray Lewis was the only guy who was convicted of anything in regards to those killings. Lewis testified against his friends who ended up getting acquitted.

Whatever. He was involved in a murder, his clothes from the night disappeared, he covered up the murder initially and lied to the police and eventually was charged because of it. Nevertheless, he was involved in a murder and no one gives a shit about that anymore. He is still seen as one of the greatest LBs ever and he constantly preaches about morals and no one calls him out on his bullshit. Things pass, that's my point. Everything blows over, and in a few years time, Brady's legacy will not be tarnished. People speaking about destroyed legacies are simply prone to hyperbole every time these instances occur

Another wife-beater with an opinion.

Suggs, not you, dxadel ;)

Whatever, Eboue.

It is what it is. We're moving on to next season and doing what's in the best interests of the team.

Oh man, reports say that Dante Fowler has ruptured his ACL on first day of minicamp.

Question related to Game Pass - am I right in saying if I buy now it expires in July (or June) and would have to renew for the upcoming season?

I think you would. Mine expires July I think.

Edit - but then I know absolutely nothing really.

I think it auto renews and if you want to cancel you need to send them an email. Not 100% sure though? However buying the season plus now would only allow you to watch the games for the previous season and you would need to pay for the upcoming season when they announced the pricing for next year.

Apparently Brady's been suspended for 4 games and the team loses 2 draft picks. They're also fined $1m.

That's a pretty crazy punishment tbh even though the report pretty much did say that Brady was guilty. First round pick next season as well

Four game suspension with no pay.

They lose their 1st round pick next year and 4th round in 2017, plus $1m fine.

CNBC reporting that as announced by the league.

Draft picks gone from 2017? Why is it always so far in the future?
