Laken Tomlinson - Seems like a special kid. If nothing else, he probably won't be caught with pot, or get a DUI, or try to steal his car from an impound, so that's an improvement

The reason I care is that he went to my school and was one of the first big recruits that came to Duke after years of being awful at football. In his time at Duke, he took a losing team to a winning team and won a conference division championship. Plus, his story is amazing.

Tebow said he'd been working on his mechanics before he signed with the Patriots...then training camp rolled around and he couldn't find his man on a quick slant. He can't play.

As for Philly: I reckon they made a mistake giving Kelly full control over personnel decisions. His eccentricities won't play well there and he'll be sacked at the end of the year.
According to his coach, he went back to his comfort zone when under the pressure of competing for a spot. Said, because it's been a year or so that he's been working with this new mechanics it's become second nature to him so he shouldn't revert this time. We'll see.

Yes, unlike the rest of this forum which supports the most successful team. Shouldn't you be in bed? And not drunk? It's not the weekend right? Do they have weekends in Ireland? So many questions.
Cough.

Raiders fan here- didnt get the memo.

Happy with Amari Cooper  - so many needs, we just need to grab best player available.

From what I've read(gave up early last night, as I'm recovering) the Broncos have traded up, and by that overpaid slightly for a player they don't exactly need, in defensive end Shane Ray.
Yea I've just been reading about it now, he also got busted for possession of weed this week.

If they're not planning on picking up a QB hopefully they'll be after an OT next to protect Manning a bit.

The NFL don't give a toss about weed. He'll be fine.

The worrying thing for your lot is that he was stupid enough to get caught by the cops just before the draft.

That'd make sense.

I wonder could they trade for a QB prospect, or pick up a later round one? I think ya'll have a bit of flexibility in that you don't exactly need a NFL ready player like the Bucs and so do. Plus, training under Manning could only do a prospect the power of good.

That's very true, but I'll trust Elway's judgement - if he starts racking up the sacks and keeps his nose clean it could be a great move.

Training under Manning would definitely help any young QB. I'd kind of like to see a bit more of Osweiler but if they draft a QB early on then it doesn't bode well for him.

Really wanted to stay up to at least see the Steelers pick but failed miserably. Fell asleep/passed out after only the third pick. Pathetic attempt.
Nice surprise to see that Dupree fell to us though. Couldn't have gone much better.

Luckily this is a very strong class of DEs and OLBs so someone like Dupree or Ray or Odighizuwa might fall into their lap at 22.

Nailed it.

They've robbed that from the schmoyoho youtube channel

This is better

Anyway back on track, shocked with the Colts pick yesterday, especially with the defensive players still on the board. Need a good safety at the very least.

I'm really happy with Waynes, Kendricks and Hunter joining the Vikings. The defense could be impressive in the future.

Apparently the Pats took Richards way early, but he's a case of fills a need, and fits the system.

I guess it's hard to complain, Belichick usually gets this stuff right.

So we drafted a guy with domestic abuse history, sure.

Pats took a long snapper in the 5th.

Sometime I think Belichick just doesn't give a sh*t.

Ha! He's after picking a guy that doesn't even show info on the NFL tracker.

He's done that before. Tavon Wilson 2 years' ago springs to mind.

The NFL draft expert's reaction when this latest guy was picked: "never heard of him".

It was brilliant!

"Ummm, he's a linebacker.... but they're probably gonna play him as a safety..... I... they must see something in him...."

Experts.

Just a small note on this guy- apparently he's legally blind in one eye.

So, not only does Belichick take people no one's heard of he takes ones with disabilities.

What a guy.

Never seen a minute of college football in my entire life but I'm happy with the Seahawks' draft.
