Be interesting to see where La'el Collins goes now. A lot of people consider him to be the best OT in the draft. Might fall out of the first round as things stand, maybe even un-drafted and into the supplemental draft ? If he's proven innocent, that's a nightmare scenario for the kid. Could stand to lose out on millions.

You'll regret this moment for the rest of your life when elway trades Peyton manning, four 1st round picks and PTBNL for the number 1 pick.
And then Tebowing in the middle of the stage for 15 minutes.

I can't wait for Goodell to come out and be shocked that he's being booed.

Hate drafts, read on the boards about these peoples opinions on who to choose, most have never seen much of the kids other than browse scouting reports and act like they're experts, its hard to determine who's actually seen a lot of college football and who's repeating chinese whispers over potential players.

I watch tons and tons of college football. I even watch a lot of LSU. But I couldn't give you a good scouting report on Lael Collins.

So in roughly how many hours will Tampa take Winston?

No, but I'd rather hear what you had to say on individual players from watching their college games live, than others who've seen a few highlight reels and make such strong claims on players.
I used to religiously follow the draft a decade ago, engrossed in reading up on the top 20+ prospects for every position etc before realising at some point I was listening to mostly regurgitated shite.

Lived in the states for years & watched a lot of college football but couldn't give you a proper evaluation of any player. You're right in that most of the hype comes from the so called "experts" & while they get a lot wrong in terms of which player will go to which team, they tend to at least get the rounds right.

I support the steelers & they, like most other better teams, don't go crazy in free agency. That means the draft is our "muppet transfer season".

In fairness Steelers are top tier usually in their drafts so I could see why you'd be excited, especially at the news of drafting any up and coming linebacker :D

Like other posters I watch a lot of college football (mainly SEC) and I don't even remember having seen some of the players, people like to pretend.
Although I'm totally inexperienced at football, so it might be me.

The important thing to consider is that there are no true experts when it comes to the draft. None. Not in the front offices, not among scouting circles, not in the media. If people could give a 100 % genuine prognostication then the bust rate for players wouldn't be so high. Even super evaluators like Newsome or Polian or Wolf have effed up big time. That said, some sources are more methodical and credible than the others - even in the media. eg. Daniel Jeremiah is an ex-scout for the Ravens and does a brilliant podcast every week where he lists out player evaluations whereas Kiper/ McShay and other talking heads, who while well connected are just rambling buffoons (for the most part).

I can't wait to see what Spielman has in his sleeves.

That's a busy years for the Glazers between United and the Buccaneers.

Pick is in.

Yep, official.

Winston #1.

Come on Chip. Package deal incoming ! :D

The draft really begin, now. Winston #1 was obvious.
