my face causes global warming
I have the least manly snacks ever for this... went to the local shop before and feck all there. So I'm rocking Skips, Haribo and scones. GTFI.
Unless I'm mistaken, only NBC are allowed to show it in America so Sky will have the same feed.
Thanks for that!Well in that case, Pats are favored because they're the Pats I guess (my best guess for bettor rationale). They have a very powerful offense, but a fairly awful defense as well. Their plan is to simply outscore the Giants. I don't think they're going to do that because the Giants have a very, very tough defense that will be incredibly disruptive to the Patriots' offense.
Players to watch:
Patriots: Tom Brady (quarterback), Rob Gronkowski (tight end, look for him to make some big plays catching the ball)
Giants: Justin Tuck, Jason Pierre-Paul, and Osi Umenyiora (defensive linemen who will look to smother Brady before he can throw or at least make him rush his throws), Eli Manning (quarterback), Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks (wide receivers that might catch a lot of passes if the Pats' shaky defense lets them), Ahmad Bradshaw and Brandon Jacobs (running backs who might get a lot of yards if the Patriots don't do a good job of tackling).
Is this game not continuous? On BBC they're cutting to the studio despite the game still being live?
I have never seen that called on a deep pass like that but there wasn't a receiver in yards of that ball. But how can a ref even think that was intentional grounding - one could argue the QB simply overthrew the downfield pass.
I simply don't get this shit.
get used to the breaks. It takes 3-3.5 hours to finish a game.
End zones either side, you have to get the ball to the end zone to score a touchdown.
One side starts out with the ball, you'll see a yellow line further up the field, this marks where he has to get to. The first time round, it's 10 yards. This is called 1st and 10. The first attempt at gaining 10 yards. If he makes 10 yards, then the 10 yards moves further up field and it's still 1st and 10. 1st chance to make those 10 yards.
If he gets pushed back, or makes progress but doesn't get to the yellow line, it's called 2nd and whatrever, where whatever signals how many yards... so you might see 2nd and 12 if he got pushed 2 yards back, he's now 12 yards away from the yellow line instead of 10. Or you'll see 2nd and 5 for example if they got 5 yards before being stopped. They've got 5 to go. Then it goes 3rd, then if they still haven't managed it, they go to 4th which is the last chance, if they try it again and fail they lose the ball where they are, so you usually see them instead opt to boot it down the other end so the other side gets possession, but all the way down in their own half with the whole field to run which makes it harder for them. They don't want to give up possession close to their own end zone. If at any point they make it to the yellow line, it resets to 1st and 10 and they get another 4 chances to make another 10 yards.
Along the way, they either fail to make the 10 and turn over posession to the other side, or they get a pass intercepted and it's the other teams turn, or they make the yards and score.
If you get it into the end zone in your posession, you score a touchdown. Then you get to do a rugby type conversion for extra points.
Seriously Wayne, go to bed. Highlights will be there in the morning. This game's going to be even longer.
Can someone give me an NBC stream. I'd like the American commentators and the commercials. Don't wanna watch my legal Danish one.
Anyone?
Thanks. Makes some sense.
Feck off jveezy!
