Anyone going to the Wembley game? I'm not sure if they've sold it out this year, Sky Sports were still offering tickets last weekend which did not happen in previous years.

Last 3 plays: interception, interception, safety.

Bucs lose, United humiliated, not a good day for the Glazers'.

Any Dolphins fans in here? Raoul are you viewing?

Miami is SHIT. Blow a 15-0 lead in the final six minutes when the other team hasn't shown any offensive life all day. Lose in OT.

I fecking can't stand Tebow.

Suck for Luck, Miami. The drive to imperfection carries on. 0-16, I call it today.

Quality win from my Falcons over a much improved Lions team in Detroit. How Matt Ryan's ankle isn't broken, I have no idea.

What a fecking start from Christian Ponder. 73 yard touchdown pass. Was ruled back to the 1 yard line though. But a touchdown on his third play! Rodgers then goes 6 for 6 for a touchdown, now there has been two shutouts. Minnesota has the ball again.

Might turn into a game! I thought the Vikes were gonna get crushed. Let's hope.

I bet the UK crowd are glad they didn't get the Seattle - Cleveland game.

What I find funny is my fellow American fans will call out football/soccer for being shit, pointing at the scoreline, but if I mention that 6-3 disaster being an example of our gridiron football not always being so great, they'll retort how the game "was won in the trenches by gladiators" and "we can't expect for'ners to understand our game" or "they didn't watch the game."

That's not even considering how we bloat the score in gridiron football. Technically, that game was 0-0 without the field goal rule. In contrast, City won 42-7 today.

Falcons beat writer says the team are pissed because Ndamukong Suh was taunting Matt Ryan as he lay on the turf with a potentially season ending ankle/knee injury. What a piece of trash.

Rodgers is just on another level at the moment, 20/23, 305 yds, 3 TD's and 0 Int's. Packers now up 27-17 5 mins into the 3rd quarter after going into halftime 17-13 down.

Suh is not dirty. Remember that. It's all we keep hearing from analysts and football people.

He was also lucky not to get a personal foul early in the game for throwing a Falcons' player to the ground after he was blocked into Suh after a play.

Seriously, a QB should not be able to run the ball with such Adrian Peterson-like elusiveness. It's just ridiculous

Lions looked shaky. Lots of fouls and over-reliant on Johnson, who's a freaking beast btw.

Packers looking scary right. Rodgers had what, 23/30 comp? 300+ yards? Shit, tits and bitches, I tell you!

Apparently the Detroit Lions play Tim Tebow next week according to the Fox NFL guys. That's right - they didn't say the Denver Broncos. Detroit should win by 600 against one guy, or are the rest of the Broncos allowed to participate?

12-0 to the Dolphins:

"Game over right?"
"It's the Dolphins..."

I cracked a nasty laugh.

The fins should have never went for two early on.

fecking muppets.

Yeah that was crazy, really impressed with Newton. Vick may be slightly quicker but Newton has more strength to break tackles? I don't see much college football and all I was reading about was about how people weren't sure if he could make it at teh NFL level. When he has ironed out the rookie mistakes he'll be one hell of a player.

If I did my calculations right, Rodgers is on pace to break Marino's single season yardage record.

24 of 30. Two spikes. Two throwaways. One drop. One off target throw. In fact, according to Stats Inc., it's the first time this year that a QB with at least 30 pass attempts had fewer than two off target throws in a game.

In his last 17 full games Rodgers is 401 of 566 (70.8 %) for 5331 yards (9.4 ypa) with 46 TDs and 6 interceptions. The Packers are 16-1. Not often you see a guy lead the league in completion % and yards per attempt.

7 games in a row with a qb rating above 110 (ties record set by steve young).

GO PACK!

Brady and Brees probably have a shot of surpassing Marino’s record too.

What separates Rodgers at the moment, is his ability to throw on the run. He made a throw to Jennings on a rollout to the right (away from Allen) yesterday that was excellent. Its a brilliant, well coached offense with so many weapons its unfair and he has been surrounded with talent for the majority of his time as a starter. Whether they can keep it up until the business end of the season against harder opposition remains to be seen. The Vikings staying in the game with Winfield and Cook out was a big ask and I think they did a decent job defensively (aside from the Jennings blown coverage) all things considered.

I see Indy got fecking slaughtered. Good!

Bad coaching and overall team depth after significant injuries. Their defense has been built to play with a lead, which they obviously have been unable to do. I have seen people making a comparison to when Brady missed the season in relation to Manning’s value to his team, I don’t buy it. They chose to build their team in this way and have less talented depth players at the bottom of their roster. Another big difference is that they failed to show confidence in their back up QB, who knew the system and instead brought in Collins in an already unusual off-season. It sent a bad message to the team. I remember the Patriots cancelling workouts with QB’s after Brady’s injury in an effort to show their confidence in Cassel after he had a difficult pre-season.

"There are a lot of cities around this country that would love to have an NFL team starting with Los Angeles. I think we should start focusing on that before we worry about getting a team in London.

The Europeans over there were not all that excited about U.S. football. They want to focus on soccer. I think there is a little bit of arrogance on our part in thinking that these other countries are just excited about watching American football"

Troy Aikman...speaking...truth....

what is this

is it me or are there a higher than normal number of really shit games this season?

Jags dominating the Ravens, averaging nearly 2 yards per play more (2.7 vs 0.7)

What the actual feck was Flacco doing? He looked completely out of shape.

It took Baltimore more than two-and-a-half quarters to pick up a first down. At one point in the second quarter, the Ravens faced a 4th-and-43 after Joe Flacco caught his own tipped pass and ran for an 8-yard loss.

49ers at four in the latest ESPN power rankings. Playoff bound baby!!

Three games ahead in the division. If we blow it now, we don't deserve a playoff spot.

The coolest part about this season so far has been the fact that everyone thought we'd make it because of our weak division. Only one of our five wins came against the division so far. Our one loss was an overtime loss. We've beaten the second place team in the NFC South, NFC North, and AFC North.

Also we're just now getting our best receiver back. Life as a 49er fan is actually pretty good for the first time in a long time.
