Nfl 2010-2011

That's the Colt's SB chances shot to hell. Clark was Manning's safety net. Like most top TEs are for a QB. Imagine Witten going down in Dallas or Gates in San Diego or Gonzalez in Atlanta.

Marcello you said shanny he wouldnt go to dallas, because of jones. ffs, he went to washington who might have an even more egotistical owner. On top of that salary isnt an issue for the first two years, Jones could have offered him a dollar and the Broncos would have to pick up 6.999999 million of the rest to match his pay from his contract, Jones could have given more after it paid off in the contract which would have enticed both parties. I love the Broncos and they are my team, but I really think if you would have taken Shanny you could have won the Superbowl, you have very good personnel like he had in Denver, so I really think he could have taken you places. It would be like old times under JJ and Barry, with Shanahan scripting the first 15 plays you would be up 14-0 after two possesions regularly

only al davis can be compared to jerry jones. jones stepped back once and hired parcells but he'll not do that again. the cowboys will never have a good head coach until jerry passes on. long live jerry!!!!!!

Unlike Jones, little Danny Snyder actually employs a GM and lets his football people do most of the stuff they're paid for. Look at the bios for starters.

Washington Redskins

You have to load the Reskins media guide to find any info on Snyder (only says he's the owner) where as Jerry spells it right out he's the 'Owner, President and General Manager.' Snyder is also a lifelong fan and bought the team to fulfill a lifelong dream and for his father - Jerry did so as a business venture.

You're also missing the fact Dallas had serious offensive line issues and secondary concerns heading into this season. Shanahan may have made a difference on the discipline approach but without Jerry signing some players, those two areas of concern would still exist. The 2009 draft has been a complete flop. And no way in hell Shanahan was signing a one year deal for a dollar or even a few hundred grand.

Barry? Oh dear. Those were always Jimmy's teams. Up until around 1996/97 when the bad drafts and cap crunch from Deion's signing caught up with them. Jimmy would have never let Jerry spend all that cap space on Deion - well at least he'd have tried to persuade him not to.

Has anyone been following the top 100 greatest players thing on the NFL network?

There are quite a few things I disagree with so far but will start with something I know quite a bit about, Brady. 21st is too high at this point, when he has only played eight full seasons. He is on the right track and his achievements/statistical success speak for themselves but not yet, why cant they just wait till him and Manning finish their careers before crowning them. I see Brady playing at a similar level for at least five more years.

John Elway, Dan Marino, Bruce Smith and Emmitt Smith should not be below him and a similar slight on some of those players is that Favre is yet to be announced. Steve Young, Terry Bradshaw, Troy Aikman, Bart Starr and Roger Staubach have already been placed as well. Patriots guard John Hannah is a greater player than Dan Marino, really?!

Tom Brady as the 21st greatest player in the league's history?

Get. The. feck. Out.

Tony Gonzalez above Roger Staubach, Ray Nitschke, and Mike Singletary to name a few. Gonzalez is a tremendous player but the 45th best ever? No way.

Larry Allen below Jonathan Ogden?

Look at the fans rankings - those are disastrous and all geared towards the current era. Deion Sanders at 19, Marshall Faulk at 21, Randy Moss at 24 and Kurt Warner at 27!

Too many highlight reels and video games.

What the hell just happened in the NO-CLE game? NO receiver just laid out a member of the chain gang - but didn't look like it was accidental?!

No effort to avoid him, no clear push to put him onto him.. very odd!

Professional athletes in the US are dicks like that. You'll see it everywhere where they just mow someone over and move on with their life.

The commentators seem adament he must just not have seen him - but it looks like he had a 10-12 yard clear run at him..

They have had to get the cart on the field for him, blood coming from his head. Straight onto oxygen and a drip. Hope he is ok.

I don't know if he hit him on purpose, but he most certainly didn't make much of an effort to avoid him.

Big strong athlete in full gear versus mostly unfit chain gang member...not good.

Good, I didn't know if it was just me who thought he didn't make an effort not to hit him.. I mean he was of the field for about 15 yards in all, and just ran straight towards him..

Wide open Carolina TD to tie the game on 4th down

DROPPED

But Carolina's getting the ball back since Smith is out and the 49ers refuse to let David Carr throw the ball.

Edit: Scratch that. They did call a pass play.

He got sacked.

Tampa get a TD and lead with 11 seconds left.

Bucs win. Been a good week for the Glazer family (the bastards)

Wow, Cutler threw 4 interceptions, all to DeAngelo Hall. I guess he'll be defensive player of the week!

Sometimes I think Brady just throws the ball too hard. Think its more likely for a completion to take a bit off and let the receiver get to it.

Very iffy start so far.

Pats force a turnover and in great field position.

TD Pats. Brady to Gronkowski. Pats up 7-3.

Chargers receiver went down without getting touched and let go of the ball. Great awareness by the Pats defender.

Haha - Charger WR catches the ball, not touched, drops the ball, Pats pick up..

But then patriots have a miserable series and punt away.

Another 3 and out for the Patriots, Chargers defense doing a good job so far.

Another stupid mistake from the Patriots, so sloppy on penalties so far.

Wtf is going on with the Chargers?

Another cock up by the Chargers, good awareness by the Pats, but Chargers will challenge it.

Play stands. Those are the 2 strangest turnovers I have ever seen, and both in the same game!

Brady sacked and another 3 and out. Chargers defense has done a great job so far, Brady's looked very shaky so far.

FG is good. Pats up 10-3
