Nfl 2010-2011

4th&1, Pats go for it. This better not lead to an Indy situation where we feck up and implode.

Challenge is no good. Still 4&1, they will go for it...

4 turnovers in the 1st half and the Pats could lose this. Chargers are picking up 10+yards per throw now...

They'll have a 45 yard FG to send it to OT

It hits the fecking post!!!!! Pats win. Scrappy performance but they move to 5-1.

Who was that kamikaze dive? He rushed hi just that bit! Get in!

feck yeah, nice way to end the week. Just about get the win, but a win is a win. Lucky escape...

Best weekend in a long time! United - Win. Patriots - Win. Ohio State - Win. Amazing lads day/evening/night/morning/afternoon, great games, great sport. And the smack talking Chargers missing a FG to hand us the game. Perfect end.

Philip Rivers continues to impress though.

It would have been nice to see Denver and San Francisco pick up wins going into next week.

You going again mate?

Look out for the Exiles - loads of us going, in our kit. Keep your eyes out for this chap as well, really handsome, 5th in the country for receiving yards this year, as well as 3rd for average kick returns, and highest for kick returns..

Not in the pads though..

Yeah. I am going to have to rush and travel down South on the morning of the game though, unfortunately.

Nice play by Harvin, walks in for a TD. 7-7.

TD Packers. Really has been an impressive start by Rodgers, he threw an interception in the red zone, but other than that he and the Packers offense have been very good. 14-7.

TD Vikings. 14-14. Good game so far.

Favre throws 2 interceptions in a row and may have injured his ankle as well. Welcome home old man!!

TD Randy Moss. Good effort that time by Favre, 28-24 Packers lead.

What the hell happened in Denver?

And what a bogus decision/rule/conspiracy to help Pittsburgh win.

Chicago got hosed as Cutler scored but the refs said no and it wasn't challenged. Cutler then turns it over on the next play. Chicago had just challenged the play before and lost, from what I heard on highlights.

Which play are you referring too? The one where the Vikings player dives in the end zone and the ball touches the ground when the player falls?

If so, that's the old Bert Emanuel rule. The play the Bucs were robbed in the 1999 NFC Championship game against the Rams.

They changed that rule. As long as you have complete control the ball can touch the ground.

From what I saw I thought the ball moved when it touched the ground though so that implies that there isn't complete control. Therefore no catch.

Well of course it would move when the ball connects with the ground while the player has his hands to the side of the ball - it's not secured. I thought he had control of the ball in air but isn't the rule for a touchdown that the player has to maintain complete control throughout the play (i.e. landing on the ground).
