Nfl 2008-2009

Hmmm... isn't it illegal to possess a firearm on the premises of a business that sells alcohol?

Thinking Plax might be looking at a stern lecture from the commish... and probable fine.

Plax is a douchebag....he's just the guy who something like this would happen to.

At least now he has a legitimate reason not to practice...

Lets be honest here, he should have shot himself at the beginning of last February.

Along with that career fecking special teamer David Tyree.

Tbf he is a fecking talented receiver, a more physical Randy Moss without the burners imo. Which is saying something(That said Moss's 4.22 burners are his major reason for success look at the 98 Vikings, remember watching the draft screaming for the Broncos to trade up for him, he was the fecking 19th pick in the draft, and everyone knew he was as talented as they come). Whata fecking idiot though, hmmmmm Im drunk lets play with this handgun that I have never seen before.

Yeah Burress is a very good player, has suffered from the drops at times though and has not got the most natural hands in the league, like say Fitzgerald. Moss also has great hands and smarts in terms of his routes etc with the speed but yeah, the deep jump ball will be what he is remembered for most. Probably the most physically talented reciever to ever play the game, thank god the black hole did not finish him off completely, everyone thought he was done. The Cowboys should have kept to their word and drafted him. I bet Jerry Jones regrets it.

Hell every team does, he is a first ballot HOFer, yeah what a shit move to Oakland though who are so shit its funny(yes I know they beat the Broncos last weekend last week wtf)

That said big ups to Shannon Sharpe who has advanced to the final round of the HOF balloting and is guaranteed to walk in this summer, also TD was, one of the most versatile talented RBs I have ever seen, had the exact opposite sort of career as Elway when you think of it, but was leader of one of the best teams in NFL history. I hope he gets in probably wont be in this year, but hopefully it is sometime, NEVER has a NFL regular season MVP and SuperBowl MVP been denied access to Hall, this need long continue.

Flat out you dont win both unless you should be in the Hall, TD's injuries were tragic but us Broncos fans will never for get him and his dominance of the NFL while he was here. Viva TD

I'm sure Jerry does but he'll never admit it. Hmmm... Moss or Greg Ellis... tough call ey. Dallas was having image issues so he cited the "safer" pick in Ellis. Jerry fecked up a lot of drafts until Parcells arrived. Jerry made two significant picks in 9 drafts following the dismissal of Jimmy: Larry Allen and Dexter Coakley. And missed on multiple selections like Carver, Hannah, LaFleur, Ekuban, Pittman, etc, while overlooking guys like Brackens, Zach Thomas (who I was begging Dallas to draft in round 4), etc. Trading away two first round picks for Galloway (I call this the trickle down effect of not drafting Moss combined with Irvin's career ending injury). I was screaming at the tv monitor for Jerry to draft Moss. Dallas still had a top class defense but needed that extra dimension on the offense. I truly believe Moss would have made a difference in 10-6 with anemic offense to probably 12-14 wins and a potent attack. Who knows how the season would have unfolded.

Plaxico is in hot water now. Carrying a gun inside a location that sells alcohol is a felony. Police are investigating and ESPN is reporting he will face felony charges most likely. NFL has rules similar too. He's fecked himself now.

Apparently Antonio Peirce noticed the gun was falling down Plexico's pants and told him. Plaxico attempted to retrieve the gun and it went off. How the feck does a gun go off unless it's 1) cocked or 2) he grabbed the trigger which is stupid. The shot went through his thigh but missed the femoral artery and bone. What a lucky bastard there but not so much carrying a gun into a club. Peirce might face punishment from the NFL and the league is investigating if a third player might have been in the party.

Plaxico got his money and since he's done nothing but disrespect his employer and teammates and acted above all. Typical of athletes getting a big payday.

How will you be watching the game tonight Keyser?

Looks like I will be watching it on the computer.

Denver - NY Jets and Atlanta - San Diego both getting priority over what is usually a great game is strange.

Cutler and company need to show up today, they have been blowing hot and cold.

Yeah computer it is for me.

Hoping someone puts this up on justin, if not will spend the first 3 quaters looking for a stream, then resorting to radio!

You act as though you are surprised FOX isnt covering the Pitt-NE game; they cant

Sky dont just use FOX coverage. I think thats what you meant?

They probably use the top two feeds, which are the games you mentioned, I would be shocked if they brought their own cameras. Also, they have a contract with the NFL no doubt that tells them to cover which game yadda yadda

Yeah true. Ah ok, is it CBS I am thinking of who would be the other top feed? or NBC? Too many letters! Sky use all footage from the US stations, in a very raw format sometimes, gives us information on US programming!

fecking hell, one of the weirdest and worse halves I have seen. Moss should have caught 3 TD's, wet or not, theres no excuse for a couple of those! Focus!

CBS covers the all AFC games and FOX the all NFC games, they split the mixed games. NBC does sunday night games, ESPN monday night games, NFL network the thursday night game

Dear Keyser.

What the feck is going on. Worst 5 minutes I have ever seen.

Regards,

muller.

Well.. still technically in this. Need 2 x TD's with both with 2pt conversions, and no reply.

Cummon cassel, i still believe in you. Ish.

Cassel. I have tried to be patient with you, hell I even felt sorry for you when you threw for over 400 and still lost vs Jets. I loved your running of the game last week against the phins, but tonight, matt cassel, tonight you had a game that I dont think I can ever recover from.

I am not saying this is the end, but maybe its time to think about drafting other people. I will try to learn to love you again, but it wont be easy. Please try not to play as bad as tonight again, and the pain might be easier. 2 fumbles lost and 2 Ints is hard to take.

Hoping for a brighter sunday next week,

muller.

what happened there muller? :D

had some patriots "fans" on my back about it all week, they were convinced they were invincible so when i see them tomorrow they have some questions to answer.

No complaints, got what they deserved, 1-13 on 3rd down is not going to get it done. If it was not for the Steelers terrible start to the game and starting 14 yards from the goal line it would have been even worse. The end zone plays and missed 27 yard field goal at the end of the first half were not good at all.

Protection was off. Koppen played poorly again, as he always does when he goes against elite nose tackles like Casey Hampton or Jamal Williams one on one, was thrown around like a rag doll at times. Light allowed Harrison to get on the outside and strip Cassel two times as well. Mankins and Neal are the only pro bowl level talents on the line, the rest are a product of Brady and the system. This along with their defense made it difficult for Cassel as they sometimes came with multiple blitzers, then other times rushed just three and dropped eight. Could not get into a rhythm.

O’Neal stunk tonight as well, it is what it is. He made Hobbs look like Nmandi Asomugha; actually make that Deion Sanders. Slater was drafted in the fifth round especially for his special team play and he muffs a return at a critical time, terrible.

No margin for error in the rest of the season now. At least the Broncos came through.

Nice win for the Broncos looks like they have a guaranteed home playoff game at his point

LT looks like he may be on the decline imo

Haha Plaxico shot himself with a 40 calibre pistol, which Tiki Barber described as a serious gun hahahahhahahahha

Peterson is gonna be a HOF, I have no doubt about it cant believe 6 teams didnt draft him

The fact six teams passed on him kind of highlights everyone's concerns on draft day. The risk of being injury prone outstripped the perceived reward, especially with the high contracts offered in the top 5.

Hindsight is wonderful but i don't remember too many people questioning them the team on draft day.

What the hell was he carrying for in Manhattan? I thought carry permits were practically impossible to get hold of in NYC unless you were a diamond dealer.

Actually I think it highlights more of the thought that RBs are a dime a dozen, sure Peterson is special, but you can usually get adequete backs in later rounds. That said I would love to see the lad for the Broncos would get 2 grand in the Broncos zone blocking scheme

I love them, but the saints will drive me insane. They're so fecking inconsistent. On Monday night they stomped the shit out of the packers. The offense played a smart and incredibly efficient, but today drew brees couldn't go two series without forcing the ball into double or triple coverage and getting picked off.

Rant over...for now.
