Nfl 2008-2009

Harrison is a dirty fecking player, I could care less if he never plays again

Tennessee go to 7-0 after beating Indy tonite, quite the surprise as a team, I forsee them choking in the playoffs

LenDale White is a beast of a player for Tennessee. He was superb in college for USC. vince is going to have a battle on his hands for QB when he returns. Kerry has been very consistent.

fecking saw him play in high school, good player. Although they still should have given it to Bush on that 4th down play

I believe Vince Young is already healthy. That USC team was amazing with all the talent they had on it.

Patriots – Colts tonight.

Obviously not what it was in previous years with Brady gone and Manning not himself but should be a decent game anyway. I have a feeling the Colts will just squeak this one at home, they are desperate and need this win to have any chance of a wildcard. If Manning gets time to pass and Wayne is healthy the match ups are just not there in the secondary. Harrison’s injury could also be big as he is usually given the role of defending Clark out of the slot. Hopefully Seymour, Thomas and Mayo can perform as they have in recent weeks and keep them out of rhythm.

The next five games is the hardest part of the Pats schedule and if they go 3-2 the Playoffs will be close, especially if Buffalo is one of those wins. I am guessing most fans would be happy with that considering the circumstances.

I have to be in at work at half 8 tomorrow, so I will be Sky+ 'ing it, then watching it when I get back tomorrow afternoon. I think that a 3-2 will be good enough for a run into the playoffs, as long as Cassell can convert in the RZ.

Frustrating. Just as it looked like the rookie second round cornerback Wheatley had shown the coaches enough to get on the field and the needed transition was being made back there he picks up an injury. He was put straight in against Harrison in man coverage, was playing well and had two very good pass break ups. The other rookie Wilhite was the next choice for the nickel as well not O’Neal. Looks like a wrist injury which he had problems with in college, I hope it is not the one that he has a metal plate in.

I can't believe how poor the Cowboys have been with all the talent they have; The Giants look like they can do some damage in the Playoffs again, I bet Tiki really wishes he would have stuck it out for a few more years. great player

How in feck is Tennessee undefeated

I ended up watching it. fecking annoying. Arguably played better, but Cassel becomes about as useful as an undeflected Frank Lampard shot when it comes to the red zone.

I'm not shocked about the Cowboys to be fairly honest. There's so much talent in the team, however, the defense has been awful all season. Apart from DeMarcus Ware, the O-line isn't pressing the QB well enough....

As for Pacman Jones!....

Cowboys issues that Jerry Jones will try to address but won't because he's NOT A feckING GM no matter what he thinks.

QB- backups are terrible

OL- can't block, Adams is past it, LG position is in dire straights, and the depth is average

DL- Spears sucks, Canty has regressed and the NT slot is too small for the 3-4 which I've been yelling towards Valley Ranch for 4 seasons (Ratliff would be better off as DE in 3-4)

LB- James is the most overrated, overpaid LB in the league, depth is terrible, and Carpenter just takes up space on a roster

DB- Henry can't cover and is afraid to tackle, Newman is the NFL version of Hargreaves, and the safety position is atrocious

Coaching staff- complete shit

Management- self-absorbed twits

Jabbar Gaffney had the game in his hands and dropped a gimme TD

Shades of Reche Caldwell all over again

Close game last night, it could have easily went the other way if not for silly mistakes and a close call on the Faulk two point try. Gaffney dropped a wide open touchdown at a crucial point of the game and there was the unnecessary roughness penalty against Thomas when we were in scoring range. Some out of character clock management and decisions by Belichick left him without timeouts as well, forcing that late fourth-and-16 attempt that wound up in Sanders hands. Intercepting it instead of batting it down actually gave Cassel a couple of shots at the end though I guess. He also second guessed himself on a fourth and one on their seven yard line and called timeout just before the play, which was made.

There were some positives though, Green-Ellis ran hard and Guyton played well on defense, to the point that Bruschi was on the field much less it seemed. It is good to be getting that kind of performance from two undrafted rookies. My love for Mayo is also reaching worrying levels, eleven tackles and he did a pretty good job on Clark on passing plays. A couple of big plays in the rest of the season and he will be in line for defensive rookie of the year.

There is a three way tie at 5-3 in the division now after the Jets beat the Bills.

Something else I noticed from the game was that Marvin Harrison just looked like a guy out there. He had no burst on his routes at all and could not seperate from even our worst cornerbacks, I don't think that is something you can get back. He is working his way back from that knee injury though and has had some off the field problems as well, so he could have something left I guess.

yeah, terrible penalty on Thomas. That was a FG to tie the game. fecked everything right up

I dont think he has much left to be honest but his stats speak for themselves

1,062 Receptions

14,191 Yards

126 Receiving TDs

Few have those numbers

Looks like brady Quinn will be starting on Thursday this week over Anderson. I wonder how he will do

I reckon he eats shit, on a side note Braylon Edwards has been shit this year

Probably one of the worst calls I have ever seen yesterday, caught an 80 yard TD lost it on a fecking bs offensive of pass interference call

I meant more about blasting his own teamates, Cutler being 1st in line.

Tbf Denver has played like shit this year for the most part, Cutler has been good at times, overall Marshall has been the best player he just runs over people when he gets the ball

what`s happened to the Denver running game? Shanahan used to turn out 1000 yard rushers like he was picking them off trees. 14 yards yesterday?

On a sidenote, I hate the MNF commentary team. None of them are any good!

Selvin Young has been out he is the only real top runner the Broncos have right now, hopefully they can poach another good one in the draft. Wish we would have kept Portis he would have easily busted out a 2,000 yard season in Denver

Pittsburgh was impressive tonite with a 23-6 win in D.C.

Instead of Bailey? I thought you guys had done pretty well with other runners to be honest. He has also been consistently good and made tons of big plays, the Brady - Bailey - Watson one in the playoffs apart of course. I am still convinced it should have been a fumble through the endzone! Second best cornerback in the league at this moment in time, I think.

Braylon Edwards is killing my fantasy team that is for sure. Sucks for Quinn that he will not even have a full week of practices to get ready for this game. At least he is playing Denver so he might be able to make some throws out there.
Just some random thoughts:
- Where will Anderson be traded in the offseason if Brady does good? Maybe Detroit?
- Is Anderson's trade value hurt now? I think a little
- What if Quinn sucks ass, will they reinstate Anderson? Definitely will create some divisions in the locker room
