Things might be a lot different with Mourinho at the helm. He may see it as unfinished business. Who else would be in for Di Maria?
Lucas is similar in some ways to Rashford. Di Maria gives us the crosses that Mourinho wants. I wouldn't doubt that Di Maria will have to be shifted and Mourinho might enquire about it.

I still can't see Neymar leaving Barca. The only reason why i could see him doing it, is that he wants to evade some tax issues in Spain. He seems to me like the person which is heavily involved in this kind of stuff.
Totally understand this bit. It's just a shame (from a United fan's perspective) that it isn't at a more prestigious club. Such as United!@serghei
Neymar believes he's good enough to have a big team built around him, and wants to prove it
Because that's not his main motivation, that's a bonus. He's going to PSG because he's on €30M a year and they're offering him €60M. Being able to fully showcase his talent comes after thatTotally understand this bit. It's just a shame (from a United fan's perspective) that it isn't at a more prestigious club. Such as United!
Amen to all you said. Can't believe any fan would want him back after his crap behaviour.Awful decision to bring back Di Maria
Same player that went AWOL just before he left.
Thankfully it will never happen.

+ The bonus of his father that probably is bigger than the previous one of Barsa.Because that's not his main motivation, that's a bonus. He's going to PSG because he's on €30M a year and they're offering him €60M. Being able to fully showcase his talent comes after that

Apparently i was staying low latest i heard, it's €40M after tax for neymar(so a €25M bump from what he's on) plus another €40M for Neymar SrThat wage climbs after every pages.
Exactly. Even the majority of Barca fans would prefer the money than keep him. If he stays now after all the fuss created, PSG will probably never go back for him, his fans may turn on him and his club won't exactly be happy. No one looks good if he stays now, he should just leave, be a man and go.
half a billionEndorsements are going to cover over half a billion euros in transfer fee plus wages? Really?

Reports that Messi deleted all the photos including Neymar from his instagram.
@serghei not a matter of recognition, it's a matter of fit. Neymar at barcelona has to sacrifice certain parts of his game, and energies, for Messi. It kinda makes sense because Messi is better, though the MSN was at its best when all 3 sacrificed something for the other 2. Messi's refusal/inability to continue sacrificing part of his game over the last year and 1/2 forced neymar to sacrifice ever more of his. You only need look at the way luis enrique was using him for a chunk of the season, when he was asked to play almost as a wingback
Neymar believes he's good enough to have a big team built around him, and wants to prove it
With all that said, OF COURSE money is the primary motivation. He's not leaving barcelona if PSG didn't offer to double his wages
I haven't been watching as many Barca games as you but I also find that he hugs the line a lot and that's not the place where you are the most influential while Messi is in the heart of the game and Suarez closer to the goal.I don't believe Neymar sacrificed too much from his game tbh. Trust me, I watched almost all games last season. Neymar was played on like crazy. By everyone. If you look at the passing network in Barca's games, Neymar is the most passed to player this last season. There's no doubt about his place at Barca. That of a star player. Take the PSG game on Camp Nou. Did Messi stop him in every way from taking the game on and being the best player on the pitch? No.
^This thing with Neymar being 2nd fiddle at Barcelona is making me laugh. He's had plenty of big games for Barcelona where he was seen as the main force of the team. Neymar was even credited by most of the press as being the most important player in the 6-1 remontada vs PSG. Messi was not at his best, and Suarez was ok, but nothing spectacular. It was Neymar who shone the brightest. He got plenty of credit for that.
He does get credit at Barcelona, sometimes as much as the other two players, sometimes even more, depending on who is performing at the greatest level. If Messi gets the most credit, it's because he is the best, not because Neymar is not the main man or some stupid idea like that. Otherwise, the talk about the best front three ever wouldn't have happened. Nobody says about 2nd fiddle players that they are part of the best attacking trio ever assembled. That's a great recognition of his value in itself.
There is no way for Neymar to be the best except proving on the field that he is better than Messi and Ronaldo. He just isn't. At Barcelona, he is probably seen as the 3rd best player in the world, which is exactly the highest position that his ability allows him to be at this point. Moving to PSG does nothing except throws him in a league that is off the spotlight, considering La Liga, Premier League, Bundesliga, and Serie A are the 4 best leagues in the world.
Only way Neymar to PSG makes sense is money. Him and his father get loads of it it seems. From a sporting perspective, it makes ZERO sense.

I think he's more like Robben at Bayern than Messi at Barca, Cristiano at Real or himself for Brazil.
A few stories coming out that he wants to stay after all, never saw that coming...
No one looks good if he stays now, he should just leave, be a man and go.
Neymar wants to stay but doesn´t know if will be able to stop the negotiations with PSG
if a buyout clause is paid, can a player refuse to go?
