@Adnandos
Funny how you have to revert to international football to proclaim Neymar over Kane.
Thats telling..
Remember I did say 2 seasons

I really hope so. If he release clause of €100mil is true he will be a steal the
way the market is going.
Agree with that too. It's telling he got a raise but as I understand his release stayed the same. (Maybe I'm wrong on that, no need for torches in the street at night!)

Personally I don't see Barca spending the whole amount this summer. They need to seriously iron out their wage structure, especially after Messi getting another pay rise.

They'll probably get Dembele this summer and then go for Veratti next summer but that's about it.

@vi1lain
Because Neymar has slightly regressed over the last 2 seasons and Kane has become one of the best number 9 in world football?
Look in an open market I buy Neymar 100% of the time. We know how good he can be and the elite level he can reach.
Theres also a chance that this is it for Kane.
The problem for me is Neymar hasn't consistently shown his true talent for a while now. Messi is being forced to take the pressure time and time again since his performances have slowed down what made MSN special.
In 2017 you are not signing the 3rd best best player in the world. That means you have to explain why he's had a better few years than goal a game strikers Lewa, Suarez and Kane, alround better players in Modric and Griezmann.
The argument isn't there.

The transfer fee might cover the next contract they give Messi, he's due a new one, it's been weeks

Kane > Neymar.

Why you ask? Just look at whose name ends in a vowel.

Going from La liga to the French league? With all due respect it's a bit of a downgrade and despite the fact they'll getting Neymar if they're getting him I don't see them winning the CL any time soon.

You mention the French league improving - it won't.

Monaco ARE selling heavily.

Lyon do not have sugar daddy owners and who is to say they are going to get one?

Without an influx of sugar daddies - which would be bizarre as the league makes very little money and is far from prestigious - they will not compete.

The finances of Ligue 1 are paltry. They are well behind even La Liga let alone the PL.

Monaco are selling like they did two years ago... and they just accomplished one of the best seasons in their history. They will probable keep Mbappé and they have bought Tielemans. Falcao, Glik and Sibibé have extended their contract, Fabinho, Lemar and Moutinho are still there, they will have a strong squad anyway.

Lyon has done what Arsenal did, they built their own stadium and are just beginning to get the financial leverage from it, they also brought Chinese investors (around 100M€ so far by memory). They are among the best sellers regarding youth in Europe so I would not be too much concerned about them, stadium naming is on its way and many other things will come with time.

Lille have been bought by Lopez who works with Ocampos Ingla and Bielsa, they are buying sh*t loads of very high young potentials. It seems to be too much at once but will be very interesting to watch, plenty of talent there.

No need to mention PSG who are the 6th richest club in the world, falling shortly of the 5th place but with their stadium to improve further.

Marseille have been bought by Frank McCourt, former Dodgers owners, he has said he will invest more than 200M€ in four seasons.

Of course Ligue 1 is behind the best leagues in Europe currently but it's clearly improved during the last seasons and the European results as well. TV rights have increased and will surely again, this will help. The PL would not be there without the billons from TV deals and the merchandising revenue it brought thanks to the TV coverage.

If the player choose Barcelona, there is nothing he can do. The bidding war only occurs when the player is happy with both clubs.
How often are players not happy with RM and their 12 CLs??

Desperate attempt of the dressing room to convince Neymar.
The club think that have already lost the case and begin to think about the day after

When they have less guarantee to play? With Neymar out, there is a bigger opportunity to play for Barcelona than with Real Madrid.

From this Sport poll the Barca fans seem done with him and would prefer the €222m than him staying.

Now they'll have the money for Dembele and to handle their debt a bit better. Not sure how they're losing(Barcelona).

Neymar is top-notch but you can definitely, definitely do a number with just Messi and Suarez.

The prices will soar if Barcelona knocks on the door :wenger:

Neymar is a super talent, but is he scoring enough goals to warrant this amount?

It's hard to assess the financial return in the long run as the owners want to develop the "brand PSG" internationally with the associated impacts in terms of sponsoring...

Monaco has the best strategy from a shareholder perspective IMO

Why is this only on 26 pages?
This is potentially the biggest transfer in footballing history...by far!

He has regressed over the last 2 seasons, what
Messi takes the pressure because he's arguably the best player, ever. And the team is literally built to suit him, that's not a slight on Neymar at all.

Kane isn't even the best no.9 in the PL, it's not clear cut anyway, and he's certainly not the best player in the league either. So that suggests that you'd rate Neymar lower than the likes of Hazad, Sanchez etc.

Neymar's international record alone with that Brazil squad is better than Kane's career currently. Plus Kane has shown absolutely nothing in the CL or in games that lead to silverware.
Scoring hattricks at home against the likes of Watford doesn't make you a better player than Neymar, but it will get you top scorer - and thats the best compliment I can give to Kane. He's a great scorer, has a very good all around game, but better than Neymar? Not a chance.

Neymar should have a bit of self respect and don't go to Paris. I mean apart from a big increase in wages :wenger: what else can he get there ?

Honestly, Neymar to PSG is huge for the L1, if the new president of the LFP is as money oriented as he pretends the league could be a lot richer.

She (espèce de macho va!)

titles, if Barca continue to feck with transfers.

Titles in France would never have the same taste as winning them in Spain. With Monaco getting dismantled now, PSG will be guaranteed to win all the national cups.

If he can steer PSG to their first CL win then he will have been a crucial part of their history.
After all Neymar was basically the catalyst that led arguably the greatest comeback in football history.
