The Telegraph is lamenting Mourdant and Sunak being the potential last two, seeing it as a potential battle of the 'moderates'. Leaving the trans stuff aside, both Mourdant's and Sunak's voting records are as right wing Tory as you can get -cut benefits and taxes for the rich, Rwanda policy etc...-shows how batshit crazy right has become the new centre ground in the Tory party.Think that's the best chance for the right of the party... get one of them against sunak in the final two

Tel is bitter that Braverman only scraped through. Actually saying that, the paper's different columnists are backing different candidates, so wrong to characterise that as the paper's position per se.
