If these reports are true, then the culprits need to be outed or Luckhurst himself needs to be outed.

Lets hope Ralf will be kept on as advisory / consultant role and the board takes his feedback and act accordingly.

I am not defending these players at all.

But what can you expect when the message from those Yank Parasites that it is more important to take money out of the club than be successful on the pitch.

If that is what the owners are doing why should you graft hard?

We will never be successful again while the cnuts own us and milk us dry.

I can't get my head around it. Do other clubs get these kind of stories with new managers or our lot are a special breed of bellends? They are "underwhelmed". Can't beleieve this shit. Their opinion does not matter one bit.
My football knowledge is very limited. But what I read online is that Rangnick plays high pressing system to win the ball back quickly. I cannot remember when UTD players pressed against Leicester. It is evidently clear that this bunch of players are not following any instructions from the manager. No wonder they are under whelmed by Ten Hag, another manager that won't allow his players to stand still for 90 minutes on the pitch.

It could be possible that while Luckhurst has been largely right about things the last few years, this could be all absolute nonsense to stir up controversy, which is about the only thing click worthy about United right now. We all know it’s going to be Ten Hag or Poch, so the writers have bled that carcass dry, but it seems a good old bashing of the players is still on the cards after another dire result. Not that it isn’t deserved, it’s just tiresome like this fecking season.

How embarrassing that this needs to be said....i'm now starting to think ETH said the most basic and obvious things in his interview and the club were "blown away with his tactical genius" :(
Board: How do we improve ETH?
ETH: By winning games
Board: Ahhhh excellent response! Give him the job.

I don't think pur players are physically up to it.

Optimism bad, you must live in misery and see the worst in everything.

Sorry but the actual football is depressing enough right now, peoples desperation to shit on others who want to believe there's a way out are absolutely exhausting.

No one said that, and no one forced anyone to see anything.

I'm sick of people not realizing that this is a forum in which you will see different opinions and different views on life and football.

What I'm saying is that I'm not buying into the hype of a new manager or new signings until something actually good happens on the pitch.

Otherwise, no one forced anyone to do or see anything. You are the opposite in fact, you can't even read anything that will shake your optimism so it's your own problem.

Ralf is spot on in terms of what is needed, he should be listened to.

Not listening to him or not moving him upstairs because he hasn't been a great manager (with a group of players thrust upon him) is absolutely non-sensical.
Darren Fletcher has seen it all up close and personal as well, and as an extreme grafter himself, I want to believe he'll side RR when the hammer of judgement falls

I think so. Another reason why I think it's the British core, cant imagine anyone else being so entitled they've had smoke blown up their arses during Ole's reign and in the media. "Shawberto Carlos".

I am underwhelmed by their performances. Not sure if Caf are split on this?

These players are stealing money from the club as well.

Have to say the one thing bringing me round to Ten Hag is the reports players don't want him.

The problem is that unless there is a complete clear out and by that I mean a complete clear out not just players who don't make the first team regularly they won't play for him

Now were just interviewing him for the sake of it
The wording (camp), seems to indicate it's about between his agent and our representative this time. So they may discuss about thing that not involve ETH direct input/out of his expertise like contract term. (Wishful thinking, and blind faith in these report from me here)

Who knows?

Think there will be a lot going through their contracts expiring. What he needs to do is make that bench a threat. That every players starting in the first team has to perform to their optimum otherwise there is someone waiting to take their place. It will take time. Ones who think Poch will be successful will be disappointed, because if we keep the majority of this lot he will be thrown under the bus like the ever increasing list of former managers. The board need to tell them straight. I am sick to death of inside sources and sources close to the players. If journalist won't say who, ban them from access to the club. No press conference, no games, nothing. There is no discipline at this club, make sure that changes. They also need to look at how contracts are constructed and when players get rewarded and what for.

I hope Fernandes is not.one of those players otherwise the the club has created a big problem that should have been avoidable

That's my point.

If the Owners are doing it why shouldn't they?

If your boss is doing the bare minimum at work why wouldn't you?

The club is rotten to the core.
I definitely agree with that. Trouble with the club is, money rules and they will just pander to their big money signings. If the player is a soft rotten character, get rid.

ETH will phase him out. Disguise Jonathan David as the number 9 when really he's the new support striker.

Obvious wumming By MEN.
Its not like Poch would be okay with laziness and everyday would be a pizza party.
I don't think any manager would tolerate not putting the effort in, this notion that players don't want ETH because they want to laze around is beyond moronic.
There might be different reasons for preferring one over the other but I doubt hardwork is one of them.

While Poch would want his team to work hard, and can be a drill sergeant; he seems to be easier to get away with. Dele, Danny Rose turned out very badly and was tolerated by Poch. His signings in NDombele and Lo Celso are similar. Those are big money and even after they survived Mourinho, and Nuno; Conte had to put and end to them even when they're Tottenham most expensive signings.

Shaw played under Poch in Southampton. His issue with his diet and fitness was always there, but Poch didn't address its root. Only when he joined us and LVG quickly picked up, we then saw this issue played out.

All these articles are just intended to buy time until his announcement once the Dutch league is concluded.

I wonder how things are with other top clubs, it seems like we drag everything on, but are we really dragging, or is it that we get leaks with every step we make vs let’s say Chelsea or Bayern that do things and keep it silent until it happens or right when about to happen.

Is there anyone familiar with Ten Hag that could answer, is he strong enough to gut this team like it requires? Will he be tough enough to deal with the 'personalities' in the dressing room?

Perhaps, we're more "commercial" oriented in that we have to give some department more power to keep the media exposure busy. With that we have to keep the drumming on, when the season is dead.

It's reasonable that ETH or Ajax wouldn't allow us to announce (if ETH is the chosen one) now. 2 trophies to play for.

For how long?

They're pretty much raising their games to save Ole all this time. And quite some of them who renewed their contract is being hypocrite. They could have left instead of signing the extension.

I have an irrational desperation for United to hire ETH with Jaap Stam as an assistant. Then Mitchell for good measure. Baldies galore

The only time they were coached to a high enough level in possession post Fergie was under LVG imo. And even that was a approach that was centred around a low risk, horizontal play style in the basic form of positional play.

But it was the closest we've got to coaching the team in possession imo.
