Ten Hag odds now 8/11 on skybet. Looks like its a done dealio.
There does seem to be a lot of smoke, i winder if they can get everything announced by the end of the 2 weeks
I'm not really sure mate, but ten Hag has worked in Germany and was born close to the German/Dutch border. So he could quite easily have been German if his Mother had given birth to him over the parameters..

Dias and VVD are great on the ball but also great defenders. What kind of managers don’t like that? Even Mourinho like complete defenders. But end of the day if the defenders and keeper are only good in defending but crap on their feet then those managers wouldn’t fancy them over someone who is good on the ball because it’s important for Pep and ETH system.
If Pep used Fernandinho as CB then without a doubt he would use Blind as CB over CB who can’t play from the back. Pep used Yaya Toure in final champions league as CB against us

You could argue that a lot of fans wanted mourinho because he ‘wins things’ no one cared about style of play back then. But I agree this is a good sign that the board are actually listening to us fans. They wouldn’t dare go against us though because they know the backlash of that.

I think they'd entertain it on the caveat of us being willing to offer them a sizeable payout, which thankfully for once would likely deter our board.
I only (hopefully) see us talking to Poch if PSG fire him, which I don't think they'd be inclined to do unless a) They have someone like Zidane lined up and b) they know that another club like us or Madrid aren't going to compensate them for appointing Poch.

There's no doubt in my mind if Ten Hag comes in under this current setup he would also fail. Only Sir Alex could do wonders under the Glazers, it really takes someone that extraordinary to win things under these lot. From what I've read there's been literally no changes in the positions within the structure above, it's still all just glazer puppets and Fletcher as a technical director. We can only see a real big difference once those roles become occupied by people qualified for the roles.

Perhaps but FSG have arguably a worse setup and got Klopp. Also I did think Woodward was a huge problem, not that he was a puppet but he had a massive ego. He was making footballing decisions when he didn’t have a clue, playing real life FM. Now he’s gone there seems to be a bit more direction.
A man can only hope things get better. Hag is my top choice and it seems we’re getting him.
