Similar toAncelotti in 2013, sure. Ancelotti in 2022, no thanks.
Luckily it's a horseshit story.
Jose in 2013, sure. Jose in 2016, well...
Poch in 2018, sure. Poch in 2022, not so sure

Ducker mentioned Poch, ten Hag and Enrique this morning.
It's a pattern with us, always few years late when it comes to managers it seems. Or early, we were in for Klopp in 2014 when he wasn't ready to leave Dortmund, then in 2015 we were never in for him as it was going well for us under van Gaal until after Klopp signed with Liverpool.Similar to

Thats the logic. If Rangnick clicks and stays on a bit longer then Enrique can be considered. Not sure why Enrique is been even mentioned. We need a manager in early summer, not one coming in mid season again. Enrique is not leaving Spaniah job before a World Cup. We'd basically be writing off another season. Unless we decided to give Rangnick another season and Enrique took over summer 2023. That would be incredibly risky though.
Maybe the Spanish FA might be okay with it if they went about it the right way (not sure what that would even look like) but he's not going to make the same mistake as Lopetegui and get himself sacked prior to the tournament by agreeing to a new job before the tournament. Not sure why Enrique is been even mentioned. He might get pushed before being given a chance to jump.Ah yes, let's completely overreact to almost certainly completely made up reports that (a) we are interested in Ancelotti - who would absolutely jump at the chance to leave a 1st place Real Madrid, 6pts clear at the top of La Liga, for a struggling and shite Man Utd team who are going to be 6th in a few games and who's fans expect to challenge every year
Apparently he was instrumental in bringing Ronnie back. That doesn't necessarily mean it was his idea; it's possible that Woodward simply asked him for some help.and (b) that Fergie is still involved, or has any say, in picking the next manager.
You are absolutely correct. My mistake.Assuming this is sarcasm, change 'The last' to 'Each' and your statement is still true.
I was sceptical at first but Hirst is reliable. You know we're so stupid that I'm actually believing these Carlo reports.

Going to be the last turkey in the shop again isn't it?
There is no way Ancelloti would be considered - this is just BS journalism - he is a max 2 season journeyman - hardly someone that is going to build something for the future! This would be the anti Rangnick suggestion…..
It’s only because he will be free again this summer and that Fergie enjoyed a few glasses of red with him over the years that enables poor journalists to get some extra clickbait
Hirst is not clickbait by any stretch of the imagination. Just because it doesn’t agree with your opinion of how things go doesn’t mean it’s BS. God I despise football when it comes to fans/journalism.
The reliable Hirst:
Other journo’s have backed this up and have more or less stated if our top targets are not met then they are looking at short term targets, presumably until our targets are available. (Why we can’t just pay them out of their contracts, I don’t know, but it makes sense)
I despise fans believing that any journalist is EVER 100% 'reliable'. It is absolutely clickbait nonsense and there is zero chance that Ancelotti will be approached as anything other than temporary, and I'd have -extreme- doubts on that. It may have been a red herring fed to journo's.Hirst is not clickbait by any stretch of the imagination. Just because it doesn’t agree with your opinion of how things go doesn’t mean it’s BS. I hear ya, it really wouldn’t surprise me.People who are saying the Carlo news are nonsense just don't want to believe to the club can be this stupid.
But the reality is we're THAT stupid indeed.

He's done fine at Madrid but it seems even their fans want him sacked. He's not done anything particularly good as a in a very long time.I’m not sure why people are laughing off Ancelotti, he seems to be doing quite well at Madrid and has a consistent track record of competence.

Don't believe he has a say nor do i believe Ancelotti will be in the running to become the next united managerSAF should have zero say in anything regarding the club going forward.
Ancelotti should be nowhere near the job considerations.
The Times and Paul Hirst don't really fall into that category though.Don't believe he has a say nor do i believe Ancelotti will be in the running to become the next united manager
The UK tabloid journalists pure speculation with each click bait article is very tiresome at this stage.
Spot on. We need to move on and bring someone in who can create a new identity and a new style of play for us. I think ten Haag would be perfect for doing exactly that.I think we should stop taking SAF advices. Yes he is a legend, but Moyes didnt work out, OGS was probably his doing too, and he probably had a good unfluence on bringing Ronaldo back, which has not really worked out for us.
His United is in the past, that so-called United DNA is outdated.
Daily Mail reporter so treat with all due lack of respect.
