Look on the positive side, Kokorin will no doubt return a changed man ready to fully dedicate to football and redeem himself, while the Miranchuk brothers and Chalov will no doubt live up to expectations and be masterfully integrated into the NT by Cherchesov soon.:D

@Don Alfredo looking at the list of Star defenders, I see Rosato being there. In my opinion, he doesn’t get picked enough to be a star defender.

Could you reconsider?

I'm not reluctant to change my opinion in this particular case and can leave him off the list.

Generally, the Star Player list is not meant to be completely even in quality, it also works as a block list for all the star players no one wants to pick here, but who are still superior to the reserve players. We need to have a considerably long list of unavailable players to make this a reserve draft and prevent too much of the usual guys getting picked again.

Let's just say I am always open to block some more players and less inclined to leaving players off the list;)

Ah shame, ok, I should have looked really so my fault, I got too used to being tagged and stopped actively looking for one.

No dramas about needing to be an assistant, I’ll just keep an eye out for future drafts :)

Edit: I also thought I was in the newbs draft until I checked the link you provided, I’ve never been in a Mains draft anyway.
 
I was thinking, what about a nba lottery type draft? So the first round, the draft order will be completely random. After that at each round, we will randomise the order with different probabilities depending upon how high you finished last time.

I wanted to run an auction draft next.. Maybe we could look to include NBA lottery into it?

Will have to think about it.. Maybe give some managers Veto powers for a pick.. So no upbids allowed for any 1 player
 
People can bid for the position they want in the drafting order every round. Eureka!

I'm thinking of a "partnership draft" just for fun.

This would only have 8 teams. Each team will have 2 managers, who will alternatively make the picks. There will be no communication between the managers either before or during the draft. I know this can't be enforced, but will leave it to integrity of participants.

Partners must not have teamed up in any draft matches before.

The first 2 picks (one by each manager) will be from legacy pool and rest may be open or have some broad criteria.

Also during matches all 4 playing managers will be banned from posting in thread. No write ups. One manager will come up a formation picture and that's it. Neutrals discussion only. Rinse and repeat for reinforcements.
