It's been better at times. Tonight was a horror show.

Holy hell.I'm giving up commenting on ways to lose. Another overtime loss with 35, yes you read it right, 35 turnovers.
Jokic lost a bit of touch. Something is going on with him.
Nuggets must be sick of seeing the Rockets. Half of our games far have been against Nuggets and the Lakers.
What's up with the Dillon trance?![]()
It turns out it was only 28 (much betterHoly hell.
It turns out it was only 28 (much better). The Warriors broadcast was in error. Probably deja vu from all the other turnovers they've committed this year.
I think Wiggins can possibly play himself back into some form. However, I think Klay is finished as a top level player. It's not just that he's been playing poorly because last year he also started slowly. Back then, however, he was forcing shots and therefore missing really difficult attempts. This year he's missing shots where he's wide open. His stroke has completely deserted him. If the Dubs do bring him back it has to be on a massively reduced salary and I'm not sure he would accept that. I think they should look to trade him. It's sad because he has given a lot to the team over the years but ultimately if you want to win you sometimes have to make the tough calls and I believe it's time for one of those tough calls to be made. Are you ready to break apart the vets? Or are we ok letting Steph’s final years be playoff first round exits? It is possible that Steph himself is ok with that.
So rare to see a player stay with one club, I hope both Steph and Klay retire as Warriors.I think Wiggins can possibly play himself back into some form. If you'd watched any of it, you'd see it's gone down quite well. The atmospheres have been playoff-like, big change from regular season non-eventers. And if the Pacers had won, I think people would've given it more credit.Didn't even know this cup was on. What a diabolical idea, at least the Lakers won it so that Adam Silver can claim it's okay![]()

You said you didn't know the cup was on. Now you're implying you did because of the colours of the court. You don't know if I watched any of it, to be fair, if it wasn't for the ridiculous colours, neither would I. It's just a colossally stupid idea that games count for the league and knockout cup games at the same time.... while the final stands alone. So it's obvious not all are going to go into it with the same intentions, which creates a genuine clusterfeck of a mess.
It's just an silly idea to generate more awards and trophies, like that we now have a conference finals MVP. All built to generate engagement and money, but in the grand scheme, more meaningless shit built within the same landscape.... plus 1 game, that statistically doesn't even count.

Doesn't matter anyway. Life's better if you try to enjoy things that don't actually affect your life for what they are. A bit of fun and entertainment.
Okay Zen, thanks for the passive aggression. And all but one of the games.... existed anyway. I don't really get your philosophy lesson here, thanks though. It's just a meaningless thing, built for engagement over anything else.
Though who will want Klay now?

His stats were better last season than I thought, with how people were saying he's done and a shadow of his former self. Looks like most his other seasons on paper. He is an expiring contract and hit the most 3s of any player in the league last year (though Steph was obviously injured for a bit). He is still a positive offensive player and good enough to be a NBA starter, just nowhere near the 2nd option for a team with championship aspirations.

But if that's the case why aren't the Warriors winning? I've heard Klay blamed more than anyone.
He's shooting 40% from the field which is his worst shooting year ever. However, it is his 3 pt shooting that has really tanked. Career wise Klay shoots 41.4% from 3. In his career prior to this season he has shot under 40% only once and that was his first year back after a two year layoff. This season he is shooting 35.4% from 3, and has been a net negative on the floor. His shot has been all over the place and he's missing wide open 3s, the kind of shot he used to knock down in his sleep. I'm hoping it's just a lack of confidence but like the Dubs front office, we'll just have to wait and see.His stats were better last season than I thought, with how people were saying he's done and a shadow of his former self. I did see his stats are down for this season. However it's early, and the complaints started before that. He's shooting 40% from the field which is his worst shooting year ever. The thing is, like @SinNombre says. At the moment he is nowhere near being a 2nd option for a team with Championship aspirations.
It does seem the supporting cast is an issue. Poole and Wiggins were highly praised in the last Warriors run to the title, Wiggins now and Looney seems to be a step down. Strange since they seemed to have an embarrassment of bench riches not long ago.The issue we have right now is no #2 option. Wiggins played like that in the 22 Championship run but has now regressed to a 4th/5th option again and that’s if he gets back to some form - so far this season is not even a NBA starter.
Steph is still good enough to lead a NBA championship winning team. Draymond is still a good 3rd option though with a mental age that is regressing fast and as easily triggered as a 5-year old. Klay, Wiggins and Looney are all the 4th or 5th option on a team.
CP and the bench are strong enough. You have to trade one of Klay or Wiggins, package in Kuminga and picks and get someone who can be a #2.

I'm surprised they brought Green back after punching Poole and destroying his confidence.
I thought Poole made a joke about Green's mouth always being open and he lost it, even though he constantly talks sh*t.I think Poole's issue was more due to him letting the money get to his head and his ego got way out of control. Poole definitely thought he was the next Steph and was acting like it. Draymond's punch was just a reaction to that attitude from all the reading I've done around this incident. At the end of the day, Draymond has been the cement around the key building blocks for all the championship runs and even if he's not the same player he once was, I am a firm believer in his elite winning mentality. They did right by rewarding him for all the years of service and Poole became a loose cannon who would not help the team in the long run imo.
IMLTHO any complaints about his basketball before this season were not really merited. He was recovering from an injury and to be fair, he did quite well considering what he had been through. I think the Dubs front office was hoping/expecting continued improvement but if anything he has regressed. This season he's making 40 million plus and therefore he's being paid like the player he was rather than the player he is now. At that price he should be a bona fide second option and sad to say he is far from that at this point in his career.I did see his stats are down for this season. However it's early, and the complaints started before that.
