NBA 2022-2023

James Harden now with 2 simpy amazing games and 2 horror shows. Let's see what the next game brings.

James Harden isn’t clutch in the playoffs they said.

Loved that, what a game. All-time series from Harden, even if he's played terribly in two of four games so far.

Malone and Jeff Green combo , its like watching Mourihno and pick any veteran player, clueless muppet. Murray taking a ball and going home mode again.

Thats all because Murray, he makes others around starving, so they greed it at every chance

Suns are doing Gods work, they win this in 6 ez and hopefully Malone gets a boot, only chance for Denver not to waste Jokic years.

That was so bad by the refs. Celtics got a lot of calls at the end
The Tatum push-off was questionable yeah but I think they got it right with the offensive foul on Smart by Embiid. Can't really remember any other ones.

They called a foul on a screen where smart got two free throws with 1 minute remaining which was a nothing foul. Also I don’t see how you call the Embiid foul but don’t call that Tatum one

Suns new owner certainly looks like an absolute knobhead after last night.

Why is flopping like Neymar?

Yeah ridiculous. Shouldn't have hold on to the ball and shouldn't have put his hand on Jokic - I don't care that you're the owner, you're just a front row fan if you're sitting there and should set an example.

Tough game tonight. If the FTs go like games 1 and 3, I think the Dubs are done. If it's more like game 2, then they have a chance.

Leaving Harden open for a corner 3 with their last possession is just, wow. Great game though.

I honestly think doubling Embiid is like second nature to players. They see him bullying his way to the rim and automatically help. But yeah worst case scenario if you left Tatum to defend him on his own was giving up 2 points and the ball in your hand to find the winner or 2OT. Leaving the hottest hand on the night wide open was stupid in hindsight but I get why Brown helped.

I don't know, you're up 2 points so a 2 isn't as hurtful at that time. Embiid had also been ice cold since the 4th quarter and looked gassed. Leaving a great shooter that has had an amazing game wide open in the corner is a pretty big mistake in my book.

It is. I’m saying I can understand what Brown is doing. Coming to help when Embiid is one on one in the paint is like second nature. It’s probably what they’ve been trained to do. If Brown could have that moment back I’m sure he would cover Harden but it’s like muscle memory in the heat of the moment so I get it.

Yeah fair enough, it's a playoff game in OT so it's understandable for sure. Fun for the series as well as I don't root for any team!

I love how everybody seemingly missed the clear traveling on that play. It wasn't even the gathering step that's now allowed, it was the kind refs are supposed to call. Also the rebounding foul on Embiid should have been an offensive foul by Embiid too

In the end everything worked out though

I mean if you are going to review the whole play then I am pretty sure the first defender actually slaps Embiid’s hand before the smart contact

Embiid commits traveling at the start of the play. His first step is with his pivot foot

Also for me the Smart contact was a defensive foul, Smart doesn't quite have position, he moves into Joel

If the Lakers get 6 more FTs every quarter, this is going to be tough.

If we can keep the FTs close to even each quarter, we've got a chance.

Ah. 2-2 then

Damn watching Curry against your team in the playoffs is torture

This is one of the highest level playoff games so far. Defense, shooting, playmaking, no crazy runs, intensity. Next level stuff from both teams.

Is this a typical NBA matchday thread reaction ?
Are you watching the game? Because if you did you'd see what I see

He's playing better than game 7 against the kings. There's no beating them if Curry plays at this level. Mostly though it's a product of why he's playing so well. Our transition defence has been a dumpster fire all game long and we simply don't have an answer for him at all

Meanwhile they managed to take AD out of our offence

Also, well. You know :D

I am watching and you're over panicking

Lakers deserved this one. 20-20 from the free throw line. They knew what their advantage was and they definitely used that advantage to the full.

Dubs had their chances and just couldn't take them.

That was a crazy good game. Warriors lost their way at the end, w Klay taking two bad shots in back to back possessions, then Curry didn't shoot well enough from 3 and that was a difference...but Lonnie Walker playing a 2 man game down the clutch w LeBron...hell of a game and performance by Walker.
