NBA 2022-2023

I guess the Lakers are not driving to the rim anymore eh.

The funny part about this stupid argument is that Steph has more drives per game than any Lakers player.

Of course Scroeder and Reaves have been the ones getting superstar calls.

Trapping Steph and playing 4v3 doesn’t work and hasn’t for years.

Thinking basketball has a great video about it from a few days back - Steph is a lot stronger and a lot more patient. You cut down on his scoring but the Warriors win.

Good adjustments by Kerr. Splitting looney & Draymond minutes. Also Steph playing more PG. Lakers will react at home now and of course AD won’t play this bad again

It looks like the record for Steph, Klay, Draymond and Loon of never being swept is going to continue. Just need the record of 28 consecutive series with a road win to add one or two more.

I was looking at the nba statistics and for game 1 (couldn’t see tonight’s game yet) both teams had 28 drives according to them. Steph and DLo both had 8, think Schroeder had 7

Big win for the Warriors to even the series at 1 each going into LA. The fact that it was a blowout might not be disastrous as it allowed the Lakers to rest their old stars in the 4th to recover before game 3.

Incidentally, what was going on here:

He got pushed man. Didn't you see it?

For those who are interested, again according to the NBA site last night the warriors again drove the ball 28 times, the lakers increased to 30. Steph the most individually with 7, and now most overall, DDV 6, Schroeder 5.

Unsure how many happened at what stage of the game, and I’m not sure what their exact criteria is, but these are the numbers the NBA are giving

It's looking like both KD and Booker are both going to have to play 40+ minutes to win this game. I think that's really going to take its toll (especially for KD with his injury history) if they've got to keep it up for the entire series.

What the feck is this clown Malone doing, just letting Murray choking a ball for 20 sec and then he is out of juice to do anything, holy shit

Both Jokic and Murray also played 40+ minutes. If this keeps up, whoever wins is going to be knackered by the the end.

Especially playing at altitude in Denver.

Murray playing 40 is someone with a brain playing 60, never seen anything like it and Malone had no balls to pull him out, he couldnt hit a shit last 5 min and did feck all on defense because he was dead on his feet.

Booker is having a great playoffs run so far. If only the rest of the team is anywhere near his quality instead of being ass so far.

Booker was amazing tonight. Even Durant although scoring 39 was only 12-31 from the field. Booker shot 80%. If he shoots even 60%, which is still pretty damn good, you guys probably lose.

The Celtics, at their best, are absolute nuisance to play against.
Still the favourites and all the more dangerous this time around because of the harsh lessons they had to learn last season.

After game 2 again not too many minutes for AD and LeBron. At times tonight it didn't even feel like the Lakers played particularly great (shooting was very good, but otherwise they haven't convinced me too much) but the Warriors were really shocking tonight. Starting to think the Lakers might win this series. Let's go!

Have to say that the Lakers are pacing themselves nicely both against the Grizzlies and now against the Warriors. Win game 1, take control over the series and concentrate on keeping the home court advantage. Huge game 4.

From being out of play in to having a huge chance for a conference final now. Inctedible business by the Lakers, has to be said.

Tied game with 5 to go - Sixers should’ve put this game to bed for good a long time ago.

Fecking hell that was a nerve wrecking last two minutes in OT, but couldn’t have asked for a better ending!

James Harden what an epic performance. Clutch as well at the end of regulation and OT.

Leaving Harden open for a corner 3 with their last possession is just, wow. Great game though.

Wow, 0.1 seconds deciding between buzzerbeater and series more or less over and two all. What an incredible end
