In an ideal world, if the Suns beat the Lakers (probable IF they try), the Pels beat the Blazers and the Kings (likely since neither has anything to play for) and the Spurs lose both of their games against the Nuggets and Wolves (also likely, since Denver is still trying to improve its seeding, and the Wolves are still trying to avoid the play in), then the Lakers are done if they lose to the Dubs. In addition, Pels would have 36 wins, and Spurs 33 wins so both are in the play in but Spurs can't catch Pels for home court so neither has anything to play for in their games against the Dubs and will both be resting for the play in.
That's how I see it anyway.
EDIT: In an ideal, ideal world (
), if the Spurs can snag one of their two games against either the Wolves or Nuggets then Lakers would already be out before facing Dubs. In addition, since the Pels game against the Grizz (who have nothing to play for) finishes before Spurs and Warriors tip off (both on NBA TV) with a Pelicans victory then they are guaranteed 9th and Spurs 10th and once again neither team has anything to play for against the Dubs.
Less likely, but I like that scenario even better.
