Curry, Harden, PG, Giannis and Jokic. I think it’s the same team Bill Simmons had (or was it Zach Lowe? Though I think he had PG in his third team and Davis in first).
Davis v Jokic is tough for me. It’s not AD’s fault how clueless the rest of that team bar Holiday is but they are still 21-25 despite AD. I also don’t get how their defense is so bad with two All-Defense players. The contrast between how Bucks have built around Giannis with the new coach and how NO have failed is staggering. If they trade their 2019 first for anyone bar Bradley Beal they will hit rock bottom of clueless.
Has there been a trade recently where two teams could genuinely say they’ve done great more than the Paul George trade?
It looked quite bad at the time for Pacers to only get Oladipo and Sabonis but both those guys have looked proper good.
I've always though PG would a 2nd star to support the main star, but this season I feel he has taken the role of the leader and really playing better than ever.Glad to see PG getting some love. He's been amazing this season. I'd have him, Giannis and Jokic (C is a tough one though) as the front-court. Curry and Harden as the backcourt.

Steph and Harden must be there. Davis for center, two out of KD, Giannis, Leonard and LeBron for the other two positions (probably Giannis and Leonard as things stand).Actually since this is about the mid point of the season I'd be interested to see people's choices for 1st team all NBA up to this point.
I'd go with a back court of Steph Curry and James Harden and a front court of Giannis, KD, and AD. Would normally put in LeBron but since he's missed 12 games and there are other strong contenders in the front court I've got to leave him out.

Just don't see him getting a spot in first two teams, with all of Giannis, KD, Leonard and LeBron playing in his position. He'll be in the third team.LeBron . Missed way too much time. Leonard doesn't play back-to-backs. Insulting to not include PG.
Ahead of Davis? Really hard for it to happen. Think that he will battle with Embiid for the second team.More insulting not including the Joker.
If we're going by performance only, Jokic is the clear runner for first team all NBA at centre.Just don't see him getting a spot in first two teams, with all of Giannis, KD, Leonard and LeBron playing in his position. He'll be in the third team.

I would go with something like:
First team: Curry, Harden, Leonard/KD, Giannis, Davis
Second team: Lillard, Buttler, KD/Leonard, LeBron, Embiid
Third team: Irving, Oladipo, George, *, Jokic
Irving and Buttler might swap places, as might Jokic and Embiid. No clear candidate for the fourth position in the third team, unless I am forgetting someone obvious.
Absolutely, though I consider George as small forward while Buttler as shooting guard. Regardless, I thought that there are rules like an All-Star when there must be 2 guards, which would have made George illegible for that position.^
George can swap with Butler. George has been much better so far this season.
Jokic should be ahead of both Davis and Embiid. The 76ers have much better top end talent than both the Nuggets and the Pelicans. Holiday is also better than any player the Nuggets have bar the Joker, and you could argue the same for Randle too.
Our squad bats deeper than both other sides though, but having said that the squad was tested with three of our starter missing a major chunk of the season - despite this they have the best record out of those three sides and are doing it in the West.
Does this stuff count or is it all about raw stats? I mean that sincerely - will they consider that or will they just look at the numbers.

Kyrie has been miles better than Butler. He's been absolutely incredible this season. His improvement on defense is massively overlooked and he's still unstoppable on offense.Just don't see him getting a spot in first two teams, with all of Giannis, KD, Leonard and LeBron playing in his position. He's played as much as Curry, which you have in your team. And I don't think it's "insulting" to not include PG in first team, considering the competition.LeBron . Missed way too much time. Leonard doesn't play back-to-backs. Insulting to not include PG.
Fair point. I didn't watch too much of Boston this season.Kyrie has been miles better than Butler. He's been absolutely incredible this season. His improvement on defense is massively overlooked and he's still unstoppable on offense.

Ok, here's my full list for the season so far,
First Team: Curry / Harden / George / Giannis / Jokic
Second Team: Lillard / Kyrie / Durant / Davis / Embiid
Third Team: Kemba / Beal / LeBron / Kawhi / Vucevic
Rose and Capela are close to making my third team all NBA but Kemba and Vucevic edges out for now.

The Nets are nowhere near the best team in the NBA, but they may well be the scrappiest. Another good win today versus the Kings leaving them at 25-23 and 8-2 in their last ten. Love watching them play. They never quit.
Jahlil Okafor is back!
They were actually the worst team in clutch moments at the beginning of the season, was something totally crazy when they threw away so many games. The loss at New Orleans was ridiculous, I remember watching that game and wondering how they threw it away.
Sean Marks should get some sort of award for sure, what he’s done for them is nothing short of amazing.
- Refused to give out any terrible deals in the Summer of 2016 when everyone went crazy (I’m sure they had space?)
- Used cap space to absorb Mozgov and Carroll (he hasn’t actually been that bad) and got back Russell (been very good) and Toronto two picks in 2018 draft (Musa hasn’t played much, Kurucs has been awesome)
- Traded Bogdanovic for Washington’s pick and got Jarrett Allen for it
- Traded Thad Young for Indiana’s pick and got Caris LeVert
- Picked up Spencer Dinwiddie who was turned down by Detroit and turned him into a very good point guard
- Picked up Joe Harris off waivers, he’s been one of the 10 best shooters in the league
- Signed some good cheap free agents without commiting to long term contracts
- Absorbed Faried’s deal and got Denver’s pick for just a year of Faried
The only blemish is them taking on that Crabbe awful deal and to be fair they did try to waste that 2016 cap space on Crabbe and Tyler Johnson which resulted in Miami tying up $20million of their cap space for two consecutive years now.
They will have max slot available this year, hope they get someone decent and not waste it on Butler. Hope they can resign Russell on a good deal.
Dinwiddie, Russell, Harris, Allen, LeVert and Kurucs is a good young core. Graham has been decent and Musa could turn into something good too. If they strike out on Kawhi, and they almost certainly will, I want them to go for players like Tobias Harris, Mirotic etc.
They have their pick this year though...so being good is counter intuitive. If they can pull of a FA signing then that probably matters less.
I suppose you've got to start building a winning culture at some point. And if you aren't certain to finish last and get that beast Zion then what's the point? They aren't finishing bottom 4 even if they tried with the Cavs, NY, the Bulls and the Suns around.

He never really left.Klay 17/20, with 10/11 from deep. He's back
