NBA 2015-2016

Curry has been crap so far, there's no point denying it. If Lebron got slaughtered for his 2011 finals with 18ppg on 48% shooting while averaging 7 assists than so does Curry, who's been worse than that so far.

....alright, alright, I surrender. Just trying to support my guy.

It would be nice to get a good game in this series...we've had 3 games and 3 blowouts.

Has a 73 win team ever been blown out so much? I'm sure the 72 win Bulls team never got beat like this. Warriors got killed twice in Oklahoma and now in Cleveland.

I think the NBA has changed tremendously in the last few years in terms of how we view fitness and also being proactive in terms of avoiding injuries. These days we seem to be much more concerned with players playing too many minutes, getting rest, overtaxing themselves in general. I think this has led to teams essentially throwing in the towel when they think a game has/is getting away from them. The Dubs have been guilty of this all year especially on the road. Of their 12 road losses this season 9 have been by double figures and 8 of those 9 have been by 17 or more. I think I also heard a stat last night that said (don't quote me) that in these playoffs there have been 19 blowouts by 20 or more points - an all time record. So it's not just the Dubs.

Don't forget regular season game in Portland!

I saw that stat too. Not sure whether it's more potent offense, less intense defense, or plain laziness

I wouldn't use the word lazy. I just think Kerr isn't the kind of coach who gets extremely worked up when his team is losing by a big margin. He is more than happy to accept defeat and start fresh in the next game.

Curry was just horrible. Except for a little 5 minute or so period in the 3rd quarter. Still don't see the Cavs beating the Warriors away though.

I was almost expecting the loss in game 3 since the Cavs had been embarrassed in the first two games and this was their opportunity to answer the critics of which there had been many. In addition, the Warriors still had a lead even if they lost so even though they made all the right noises about not taking the Cavs lightly, the series was far from over, the Cavs are still a great team etc... I wasn't too shocked with the outcome. Game 4 however, is a new day and it will be interesting to see if the Cavs can keep the same intensity and/or the Warriors remain so lackluster. I expect a response from the Dubs similar to what the Cavs had in game 3. The one fly in the ointment, however, is that I expected a high intensity performance from the Warriors in game 4 against OKC after they had been blown out in game 3 and we know how that turned out. Ultimately though, I still have the feeling that even if the Cavs can make it 2-2, deep down if the Dubs absolutely HAVE TO WIN they will do so. Warriors in 5 or 6 (maybe).

So you basically reckon Warriors would win every single game they have to win? Hope you're proven wrong.

I am not sure whether or not love should return to the line up. Stilll would make for a great game though. Can't wait!
I would definitely keep him out of the line-up. This line-up worked for them, and they have confidence now that they can win with it. Kerr changed the line-up that wasn't working in game 4 last year, and when it worked he sticked to it until he won the series. It makes no sense to change a winning line-up in such a short and important series.

Love is getting a lot of hate and I suppose that's fair enough.

But, the Cavs won this on offense - 1st time they've scored 100 or more points in 8-9 games against the Warriors.

- Kyrie scored 30 points in game 3, he had 36 in the 1st two games.

- LeBron came out aggressive and scored 30+

- JR took 9 shots in the 1st 2 games (made 3), he took 13 in game 3 and made 7 of those.

Shit officiating strikes again. Clear foul at the end of half should be three shots for GS. Instead, no call and then the GS bench (Kerr?) gets hit with T. That's a potential four-point swing.

But the Dubs get all the calls. Everybody says so

Truly pathetic last 2 minutes by Cleveland.

Warriors going back to the Bay with a chance to win the title on home court. Curry was huge tonight. Iguodala and Green had a good games defensively.

Irving kept Cleveland in it most of the game. GS took over in the second half.

His stats look good...but, LeBron was terrible. Kyrie will cop the blame for 3-4 bad possessions, but this was down to LeBron.

He was so passive...either passing up open shots or going ISO.

Curry like last year showed up in game 4 on the road. Huge game.

If (when tbh) GS wins, who will be the finals MVP ?
Good question....atm...there are no clear favorites.

Curry - game 1 poor, game 2 efficient, game 3 shit, game 4 magic

Green - game 1 decent, game 2 magic, game.3 shit, game 4 decent

Livingston/Iggy - Iggy very good to excellent defensively whole series, offensively 2 decent games. Livingston with 1 stand out game.

So yeah...lol

A number of players have had their ups and downs in this series but game 4 looks like it will be the game that broke it all open and Steph tonight was the man and the main reason the Dubs won. He stood up to be counted in the biggest game of the series and probably the one that will essentially win it for the Warriors. On that basis unless Draymond is otherworldly Monday night in a Warriors win, I think it will go to Steph.

If it was feasible (it's not unfortunately) and they go on to win, I'd actually give it to Steve Kerr. He's won with role players, he's won with his stars and he's won by motivating his team. "Soft." They weren't soft in game 4.

LeBron looks old and slow IMO. His stats were pretty good but when I saw him he just didn't look like his old self.
