NBA 2015-2016

As I post that, Russ trips Green. Jeez the refs are missing everything.

I just thought it was weird you'd hope for a close game.

Yeah I don't love Thunder that much, but of course I'm rooting for them over GSW. When I say "close", I'd prefer a close win for OKC. :D

If they make it to the finals and play Cavs though, I'd root firmly for OKC, and hope for a blowout every time lol

Thunder going with the hacking already? Figured they'd prefer the fast pace, weird.

So is Steph. I suspect that neither are fully fit.

I'll buy Curry not being fully fit. I've seen him elude the tightest of markers.

Green is different. He's getting flustered by the looks the Thunder defense are giving him. He's not getting to the rim, his shots aren't falling, he's turning the ball over excessively, and the Thunder lineups are causing mismatches forcing him into foul trouble.

And I don't wanna hear any excuses about injuries. Not after last season when the Warriors faced teams missing a healthy Evans, Conley, Allen, Beverley, Irving and Love

Hey, it is what it is. Injuries are part of the game. You win some you lose some and a bunch of other cliches. This year it appears we are losing some.

Fecking hell, just woke up and it's already a 20-point game. Pull yourself togeter Warriors!

Well at least Thompson has managed to do so. Did the commentator really just say he's scored the last 17 points for GS? Find that a bit hard to believe but he's been on fire tbf

OKC still in the lead after a quarter where Klay went off and KD shot badly. I still have no idea what's going to happen in the 4th.

Feels like it's over. Surely even the Warriors can't win 3 games in a row against this crazy Thunder team.

As well as OKC are playing, this just doesn't look like the same Warriors team it did six weeks ago. I don't know what's wrong. Maybe Steph's injury and then comeback upset the rotation or one or two players are carrying injuries. I don't know. The last two games they've been pathetic. In all seriousness, if they were playing like they did in the regular season I'd still give them a 50/50 shot at pulling this out even though they are 3-1 down. They've only got to win 1 game on the road. However based on this recent shambles I really wouldn't be surprised to see the Thunder finish this off in 5.

Still hopeful though. You never know.................................

That tweet is a cheapshot..after all, Steph and the Warriors did overcome a 2-1 deficit against the Cavs and win a championship. Cam hasn't.

Not to mention, Steph returned from injury against the Blazers and put on an absolute clinic.

Finally - by simply putting this down to Steph choking...you take away from what OKC has and is doing. This team man handled the Spurs (2nd best record in the NBA) and is now doing the same to the Warriors. Thunder have won 7 out of the last 10 playoff games against the 2 best teams in the league.

It really is simple. There are lots of big teams in the NBA...but there are no big teams that are also as athletic. So, Steph can go around Adams into the paint, but then he's worried about Ibaka sliding over and blocking his layup, so he's altering his shot and missing them. The Thunder have basically got in their heads. Not to mention, Draymond Green is a crucial cog in their machine and his last two games have been downright disgusting.

I expect the Warriors to show pride and pull out a win in game 5, but no way do they beat the Thunder 3 times in a row....this series is all but over.

Agree with most of what you said (and to be fair to Cam, Brady also got whacked by that D a fortnight earlier). Still a funny tweet though.

If they really can pull a win out in game 5 I still think there is a reasonable chance of pulling it off. Steph (and the Warriors as a whole) is/are not playing well. Some of it is the Thunder no doubt, but their whole rhythm seems to be off. Steph is missing way more open shots than usual and I believe this is affecting the team as a whole. I don't think he is choking, I just don't think he's 100%. However, because of this I think they've lost that "air of invincibility." In short, I think their confidence has taken a huge hit. If they can some how get it back by winning game 5 then they only have to win one road game and its all even with game 7 at Oracle. The way they are playing I don't believe it will happen but what goes on in your head is a huge part of playing sports and one win may be all it takes to get that winning mentality back again.

Glad to be proven wrong on Westbrook. Was thinking that he'll become an another Iverson/Carmelo, who while a good player, will harm his team because of his selfishness, but he has been absolutely majestic in this playoff and is outplaying Curry.

If him and Durant continue playing like this, no-one can stop Thunders.

Harsh putting Iverson in the same sentence as Carmelo.

Compared to the other big superstars look at the supporting cast Iverson had...yet, he dragged them to a finals and won a game against those formidable Lakers.

Carmelo doesn't have half the heart AI had.

I can't believe Thunder have finally put it all together and seems to have come from nowhere! Since getting blown out by Spurs in game one they have been incredible.

Okc v Raptors the final we all predicted?? :D

I'd love it  Unfortunately fully expect Cavaliers to win tonight and maybe end this on Friday, even though I love this Raptors team and cheer for them.

Actually losing tonight and winning in Toronto might be their superior chance, Game 7 in Cleveland will be as difficult as Game 5 but losing Game 6 in Toronto after winning in Game 5 in Cleveland would ruin their morale. Oh feck that. Just win tonight, win in Toronto and send Cavs packing.

If DeRozan, Lowry and Biyombo play at 110% like they did yesterday and Biyombo remains the shot-blocking, rebounding machine, they have a chance. If JV comes back it'll be even better.

OKC beating both the Spurs and Warriors in six games or less before taking on the Cavs in the Finals is quite similar to Atéltico beating Barcelona and Bayern before having to deal with fecking Real. Both are amazing paths to the final, fully deserved if they pull it off.
