NBA 2015-2016

I'm blaming you. Bastard.

Still early days, but it's amusing to see OKC, Clippers and Houston fall short of massive expectations entering the season. Overall apart from the Warriors, the rest of the West is still trying to find their feet.

Which is tremendous news for my East. OKC just needs to stay healthy and avoid the #8 seed, i'm a tad bit worried about Houston and LA is well, LA.

The sixers are having a very consistent season, which is what we have come to expect from a franchise that has been rebuilding since forever....

....but what the heck is going on in NOLA?

Everyone needs to avoid the 8 seed in the West. That's an instant sweep, barring injuries or the Monstars stealing Curry's talent.

NOLA is crippled with injuries. I have 6 teams on lock to make the playoffs, so they'll need to improve fast to beat Utah, Dallas, Suns and Minnesota to make the playoffs. Unfortunately I don't see that happening this season.

Miami almost gave the Philly their first win of the season, trailing throughout the game, but a 19-2 run in the 4th - which was perfectly executed, forced the sixers to take an L in meek fashion.

2ND IN THE EAST!!!!!

Wade 19,000+ points, top 50 all time scoring, Top 10 SG, great career.....should call it quits soon.

Clippers down by 29 (!!!) at home in the first half against Toronto:lol:
They remind me of AC Milan a few years ago. A mix of big names who are mostly past it playing under an overrated coach.

Curry struggles? Thompson takes over = sorcery.

#Dubnation.

It's just unfair isn't it? Sometimes I forget how great a shooter Klay Thompson really is because of Curry's ridiculousness. For the record Thompson also shoots almost 42% for career 3 point range - as a reference Ray Allen only shot 40%.

Feels like Thompson needs his own team, sometimes.

Mudiay might just be my new favourite player. His handles and athleticism >>

Also never followed a superstar(hopefully) from the start, like this before.

So 15-0....they've had 2/3 really close games in that run, but keep coming up with ways of getting out of sticky situations and then looking like convincing winners in the end.

As for Klay Thompson - I know he does a lot of work defensively and naturally has to take a back seat to Steph, but it feels like, he really hasn't gotten it going yet offensively this season.

I haven't looked up his numbers to verify one way or the other - just feels that way.

Lakers next. Should be a fairly easy game for them to wrap up the record for best start.

His shooting mechanics are broken as feck though. So far he reminds me of John Wall.

Yup. And he turns the ball over a little too much. Thankfully it's his rookie year.

The Cavs did Wiggins a huge favour by trading him to Minnesota.

Lakers should've signed Rondo and drafted Okafor.

Okafor and Randle would be an absurdly bad defensive frontline. And playing with a ball dominant player like Rondo might hurt Clarkson's development. There was going to be no easy fixes for the Lakers. I do think there is a chance Russell and Clarkson do not work together but, we really will not no for sure until we see them play together in a more high tempo system.

Doc gets genuine love for being one of the top coaches in the league - which he is.

He can't help it - if established stars simply freeze when the heat is on...or that Jordan offers nothing offensively expect for dunks and that his abysmal FT shooting is such a liability in close games - he has to be taken out of the game.

I mean you have a Big 3 - but one of the big 3 can't be out there in crunch time??

Not to mention - specifically against the Dubs - they can't match up with them when they go small (Cavs had the same problem in the Final. Once Kerr decided to bench Bogut - Mozgov was getting his points, but the Dubs were a different animal).

Clips will be one of the top seeds again - and they might make it to a conference final, but if the Warriors are in the way - they won't beat them to the Finals.
Doc is overrated and living off his reputation from the Big 3 era in Boston. How the hell does Crawford plays the most minutes in a team which has Blake and CP3 is just ridiculous, especially when Crawford isn't playing well.

I really can not remember and all time great player going out as poorly as Kobe is right now. This is just depressing at this point. And it looks so bad because Kobe has not adapted his game at all. Garnett has accepted his role as mentor to younger players, Pierce is a spot up shooter at this point and Kobe is still forcing up shots like he is 28.

His legs have gone.

Couple of the jump shots he attempted today, they just had no arc to them...no spring in his legs and that's to be expected.

Not just his age...but the amount of basketball he has played.

But he needs to minimize his minutes - no Laker coach will dare to do it...he needs to do it himself - save himself from further embarrassment.

Still a terrible defensive team, either way. So why not boost your offense? surely a pass first PG would also suit the system.

Huh?

Griffin - 33.9 minutes per game
Jordan - 32.6 minutes per game
Paul - 31.8 minutes per game
J J Redick - 27.8 minutes per game
Crawford - 25.7 minutes per game

Thing is Kobe you can't score 80 points.

You're averaging 15 points a game on 31% shooting this season.

Yes - 31%

Last night you were 1/14.

This isn't a blip.

Season -
12/13 - 46%
13/14 - 42.5%
14/15 - 37%
15/16 - 31%

Miami @ DET : Interesting matchup at the center position tonight.
Memphis @ HOU
Dallas @ SA

he can't help himself, he just wants to be the hero and can't let go.

Johnson's working harder than Winslow, but I'm still not convinced he's the better player.

Don't know how Chicago lost to them either. By all means Chicago have their flaws, but they made them look better than they are.

Not even trying.....feck this.

Switching over to Drake Night, the Raps are beating Cleveland.
