NBA 2015-2016

Porzingis really looks great so far. Too bad he actually really seems to like playing for the Knicks, I'd love him to jump ship at the first possibility just to laugh into the faces of those Knicks fans that booed him at the draft.

Hawks look even better with Bazemore instead of Carroll so far, which is great. They haven't played the strong west teams so far tho, so we'll see.

Ease up...you can't blame the Knicks fans. They've been losing forever and ever. Porzingis has looked decent and provided he bulks up a bit, it seems like, he has a pretty good future ahead of him.

But - it's going to take him a couple of seasons to figure things out - physically, mentally and his game. By then, you're looking at a Melo who is 33/34. It's been rebuild after rebuild...bad drafts...bad free agent signings...bad contracts...so, for the team to take such a huge gamble....

Doesn't matter how much Knicks fans had to suffer, booing a young guy from another continent at the draft in their own city is inexcusable, no matter how you look at it (I am aware that it was just a minority).

I assume this isn't the first draft you've watched...Knicks fans boo just about all their draft pick. It's their thing - and they were always going to boo someone like Porzingis, who could have just as easily been a complete flop.

I didn't think it was a big deal - and as you can see, they love him now lol

But to boo the rookie at the draft? That's just horrible behaviour, no excuses about it being tradition, their draft picks have traditionally failed, should they just give up on the draft?Besides, who could they have drafted at that spot that would give them an immediate impact?

Mario Chalmers to Grizzlies

Heat will receive - Beno Udrih, Jarnell Stokes and a 2nd round pick
A lot of Heat fans don't appreciate him. I think Miami miss him. It was almost certain that he's going to be dealt this season, was hoping they won't find suitors. Oh well.

Good luck Rio!

No pick. Just Beno and Stokes.

Low risk/high reward for Grizzlies. They get a backup point guard that can play D and make 3s (going off league average, not sure how much of his stats are distorted by the Lebron effect). We also get Ennis, who as far as I'm concerned takes Stokes place on the bench, nothing more.

Yeah, my bad - I posted after initial rumors. You guys save any money on luxury tax?

I'm an offense kind of guy, but this defense >>.

Rio failed to establish himself in the team, so he can feck off, will miss him though. Ennis is a fraud.

Udrih will be essential in the playoffs and Stokes is one for the future.

Godside and Winslow >>>>

How are New York looking like this season?

We are doing ok. 4-4 at the moment but every team we have played so far has been a playoff team from last year so any win is a good win at the moment. Porzingis the young rookie is very exciting.

What do you think of Rio's defense? I don't recall him being a liability back when your LeBron led D would swarm the feck out of offenses.

Solid. He gained a lot of confidence playing alongside Lebron and Wade (sometimes a little too much), seems to love defensive assignments as a 6th/7th man.

Did anybody watched SAS play. How they are doing? I usually watch only playoffs because games are so late in CET so i just check results usually.

They've looked pretty good actually. Man Utd looks fresh, Duncan is Duncan....Aldridge is starting to settle in and will continue to do that as the season progresses. Leonard is beasting on both ends of the court.

Provided they can remain healthy (and this really is a big deal for them) - they'll be legit contenders AGAIN.

He's not a very good perimeter defender, but he's very active on defence with lots of deflections/steals, which fits Miami's active defence very well.

Someone is going to get a lot of love today...

He's a fecking demon.

I want Lebron to posterize him so he loses all his confidence.

Like he would ever get himself caught up in such a situation.

Seriously though, I don't think 'confidence' matters to him. His shooting the last couple of games hasn't been great - but it changes nothing. He keeps shooting, keeps taking the same shots.

He has incredible self belief in himself and his process + mechanics.

I like that he's excelling - it's kind of like when Steve Nash was running rings around people. The NBA is so full of physical freaks (be they 7 foot ball centers or guys like LeBron who could probably play TE in the NFL ) Curry looks 'normal' - there isn't anything outwardly athletic about him.

Since Whiteside will be an UFA in the summer and the Heat doesn't have his bird rights, their best bet is probably to ask D-Wade to take a discount yet again or trade Dragic if he doesn't improve, if they are to keep him. If they don't, where do you think he'll end up? I think the Lakers are out of the question since they had him at their training camp last season, but still cut him. Probably still holding a grudge.

One of Deng or Dragic is going to have to bounce, TJ is doing much better than Dragic so far, but Dragic has personal problems - and will need time to adjust. Also don't think we are ready to make TJ a starter - as early as next season(unless of course he outplays the chef and gets crowned finals MVP against the Warriors......lololol).

Deng is not as good as he used to be, and we have Winslow - who is mature for his age, this is the end for Deng, unfortunately (unless of course he wins finals MVP against San Antonio......lololol).

#KD2MIA is just a dream at this point, also, feck Aldridge for not signing with Portland for a year and then Miami next summer, as the Godfather instructed.

I think Whiteside will stay in Miami (might take a one year contract if Miami have a chance of getting a superstar), Wade will take a paycut (multiple year contract at ~10m/year), Deng will leave, Dragic will stay, and another star will join the Heat.

Next season's line-up could look this:

Dragic
Wade
???
Bosh
Whiteside

Winslow
Tyler Johnson
McRoberts (although he could be traded if they have a chance at a superstar)

Could the Warriors beat the Bulls' 72-10 record?

Hopefully i never get to witness Steph Curry's Warriors beat the 72-10 record, in my lifetime.

No, going past 70 wins is still a difficult task, Warriors have to remain fully healthy. I need to see them play the Cavs/Spurs.

They visit the Clippers on Thursday, that'll be a very interesting game if you ask me. They play the Cavs at home on Christmas, exciting matchup that is.
