NBA 2014-2015

The All-Defense Teams have been announced.
1st: Chris Paul, Tony Allen, Kawhi Leonard, Draymond Green, DeAndre Jordan.
2nd: John Wall, Jimmy Butler, Anthony Davis, Tim Duncan, Andrew Bogut.

It's the first time LeBron has missed out since 2008

Okay so a rapist, a homophobe and a black guy walk into a bar. Then everyone in the bar is like "hey Kobe can I have your autograph?"

Still won't be able to sign any autographs with his 5 rings on his fingers.

More rings than a certain Franchise in the midwest

Wall is the most underrated player in the league, i'd take him in my team right now.

You've done that one in here before.

Kobe Bryant talks about rejecting a trade to the Pistons
Bryant admitted that part of the reason he declined the trade to Detroit stemmed from what the Pistons would have given up (Tayshaun Prince and Rip Hamilton included). What's fun to think about, however, is how dramatically everything changes if that trade goes through. The Lakers are unlikely to then seek to add a star in Pau Gasol, which means that Gasol very well could have gone from Memphis to Phoenix for Shawn Marion, who instead traded Matrix to Miami for Shaquille O'Neal, which ended the Seven Seconds or Less Era. The Pistons might have extended their run, and had they gotten past the Celtics, there's no telling how the Boston era ends.

The All-NBA Teams:

1st: Curry, Harden, LeBron, Davis, Marc Gasol
2nd: Paul, Westbrook, Aldridge, Pau Gasol, Cousins
3rd: Irving, Thompson, Jordan, Griffin, Duncan

12/15 from the West.

Bizarre. How can Kawhi have played enough to win dpoty but not all nba? Crazy that in the most guard centric era in nba history, you've got 8 non stretch big men.

I think the writers vote for DPOY, and the coaches select the all star teams.

And I'd put Wall instead of Irving. Much better defender and distributor of the ball.

What's holding the Conley extension?

He's coming off the tail end of a deal that short changes him (at the time people thought it was a mistake). Makes more financial sense for him to sign a new deal. No objections from me, he deserves a pay bump.

No, Reggie was 44th. He sucks.

Fair enough, and I agree with your last point.

Pistons I might take Wall. The plan seems to be get shooters to surround Drummond and Wall is the best at creating corner threes for teammates. Might.

For a blank slate team, Irving easily. He's a much better scorer and is improving defensively.

Fair enough.
