NBA 2014-2015

Dwyane Wade must be the fastest player to go from Draft pick to Finals MVP.

Looking back, he was probably the most important player in that draft.

More important than LeBron? Don't think so.

Last year was a great year. The year before was weak at the top but has since revealed a lot of gems lower down.

Towns and Okafor can both be franchise players. Russell is the best player this year in my opinion.

Mudiay?

Wade set the bar for this generation with his performance in that playoff series against the Mavs, he was 3 years in and he already had the discipline and leadership of a vet, by winning a ring and being crowned finals MVP he put pressure on the rest of the guys not just in his draft but in his generation. This was probably the reason why Bosh and James opted to come to Miami, he made the big three happen, he adopted the role as the big brother, he relinquished his team for Lebron who was clearly the better player but lacked the mental toughness and leadership.

Magic Johnson won it in his first season.

I really hope the Knicks end up with Towns but, I will also be fine with D'Angelo Russell. Nice to see the Knicks with an actual high pick in the draft they usually trade those away.

Absolutely no idea tbh, I've got no clue about the players in the draft. But it looks like it's going to be Okafor or Towns, yes. Although Russell seems to be the most exciting one to me.

Towns seems dead cert for Minnesota so its between Russell and Okafor, but yeah keeping up with the college players is more difficult when you dont live in America, I'm usually blind to the draft.

Lakers got the 2nd pick :D

Towns is the player I want but it's hard to see Minnesota not drafting him. He'll fit perfectly with Rubio (if he stays) and Wiggins.

Okafor is talented, post move are NBA ready definitely. And he has the size, but he'd get caught on defence big time. He'd need someone like Ibaka next to him to block, rebound and generally do the dirty work.
And Okafor next to Randle wouldn't offer much in interior defense.

I think I'd rather get Russell and have a Clarkson/Russell backcourt for the foreseeable future and try to get the right big man through free agency. Go for DeAndre. Clarkson/Russell backcourt and Jordan/Randle frontcourt would be handy in the long term.

Im certain its gonna be Russell. Unless miraculously Towns gets passed on by Minnie.

i fecking hate the lakers
