Of course. They're only 3 games behind on the loss column in a weak conference. So what's the plan now for the Pistons? I thought they were tanking but can/will/should they push for a playoff spot now?
Atlanta Hawks franchise up for sale...
Cleveland clearly won that trade, they dumped an idiot and some scrubs for some much needed support for their bench and they got a pick in return. Shumpert might not be as good as everyone expected him to be, but he can still play defense and a motivated JR is a damn fine player to call off the bench when the big 3 rests. Cleveland just needs to find a way to trade for a decent big who can actually play defense and they'll be up there at the end of the season.
Why the feck would OKC want Waiters though? He's clearly going to end up replacing Jackson's role for next season, but why didn't they throw him into the trade and get a pick back since he'll be leaving for nothing anyway at the end of the season.
Knicks have have officially declared themselves tanking with this trade and I'll be surprised if Carmelo even plays again this season.
I watched the game against the Heat in the stadium and Harden is really something else, fantastic player, Josh Smith no doing too bad either.Watched both games tonight. I know it's the Knicks but Harden really is brilliant. Lillard and Aldridge likewise.

Jacking up that many shots in a team which has LeBron, Kyrie and Love ahead of him in the pecking order certainly qualifies him as one. He's still on his rookie contract for goodness sake, if he don't recognise that this is possibly his best ever chance in his career to get a ring as long as he just go along with what the coach wants, he's definitely an idiot. Why is Waiters an idiot?

This is not even including the rumours where he supposedly thinks he's better than Kyrie. Good luck with him thinking he's going to get enough shots off in OKC.
Brooks is a horrible coach, that's it really.Impressive home debut from Waiters. Big 3 at the end to clinch it. Sloppy from the Thunder still though. Durant bailing out Brooks again with some good play late in the last. No idea what is going on with his rotations. Lamb and Jones seem to have been frozen out, and Jackson appears out the door. Meanwhile Adams looked super impressive the last month or so and suddenly he is losing minutes to Perkins, who is just

Yeah, it's tough. But after seeing how well Steve Kerr has done with the Warriors, surely Westbrook and Durant must be starting to question if Brooks is holding them back. If they don't get a title soon, their window will be over soon as I don't see Westbrook agreeing to stay with them and being second fiddle to Durant anymore. He's too good to not being the star of his own team.Yeah I'm starting to want him gone. Obviously when Thunder were making conference finals and stuff it would have been a tough decision but he's struggling now even with a healthy roster. But if Durant and Westbrook like him then he won't be going anywhere.
What's going on with the Raptors, that four losses in a row for us now
I knew missing DeRozan would be a blow, but defense has just been trully appalling which is unacceptable considering Casie is a defensive coach.
Could see him succeed Kobe as the main star for the Lakers.Yeah, it's tough. Love and Westbrook together for a UCLA reunion on the Lakers would be something to seeCould see him succeed Kobe as the main star for the Lakers.
Still them making the play-offs is not a sure thing. He's a "tough guy". Either way Houston got the win, and Howard got to stay on the court, so he definitely lost.
In other news, Detroit has just beaten Toronto away (9-1 now since Smith left), and now they've proven that their initial run wasn't really because they were meeting inferior opponents, they're genuinely (much) better without Smith.
Who would have thought Detroit would make the playoffs this year??
I know, they're still a couple of games behind, but I just think that momentum and confidence at this point of the season is more important than 2 more losses.Still them making the play-offs is not a sure thing.
Spurs> OKC >GS > Houston > Clippers > Dallas > Memphis > Portland
Time to revise my top 8 i feel. Phoenix looking quite good too but I'll stick with the original 8
Golden state has gotta be number 1. That team is just so deep. Rim protection might hurt them.
I'll keep OKC second and push the spurs down to 5. Houston and Clippers can stay in positions 3/4
Memphis moves ahead of dallas too.
GS > OKC > Houston > Clippers > Spurs > Memphis > Dallas > Portland
I wasn't referring to their playoff seeding , more who I think would be favorites to make it out of the west.
