NBA 2014-2015

Wiz with quality win against Houston to start a five game road trip. Beal with 33 poimts and 10-10 from the FT line. Great win.

Going to be interesting to see who gets that number 1 seed in the East. Wiz, Raps, Bulls and eventually the Cavs you would guess are all strong.

Unfortunately my Knicks are making this season horrible for me :(

Dear KD-Looking forward to seeing you in a Wiz uniform next season.

Was hoping for a 2-3 road trip-looks like that could happen. Need to beat NO-don't expect to beat Spurs tomorrow.

Raptors really need DeRozan back. Without him they're a defensive shambles since their big men are pretty meh. GSW and Steph Curry ran riot with them.

Trades are confusing, but it seems this has happened:

To Cleveland
JR Smith, Iman Shumpert, protected 1st round pick from OKC

To New York
Lance Thomas, Alex Kirk, Lou Amondson and a 2019 2nd round pick from the Cavs

To OKC
Dion Waiters

???

Really? I think it's not a good trade at all. Is that the best they could get for Waiters?

Also, Larry Sanders has decided he doesn't want to play basketball anymore with tens of millions left on his deal.

They need something. Just blew a 17 point lead to philly. JR and shumpert when locked in can be decent players and playing with Lebron will get them more open looks.

Wiz go 2-3 against Houston, Dallas, SA, OKC and NO. Started and ended with wins; got blown out by Dallas on the second night of a back-to-back. Spurs were too good and Durant was unconscious. Overall, decent showing by Wiz, but lost some ground to Atlanta. Will need to get back on track at home.

Was curious what the reactions to this trade would be. Talk radio segments have ripped the trade all-around while the bigger outlets have attempted to break down the trade and find a "winner."

Btw, what's the thoughts on the Rondo trade? Can it push Dallas to the Finals?

Dallas are an injury away from being a pretty poor starting 5. Losing Wright in that trade I think was crucial.

Golden state dropping threes against OKC while the dynamic duo drop bricks. Down 20 at ht

Frustrating few losses for Toronto now, we need Derozan back as soon as possible, he's not the most efficient player by any means, but he draws the double teams and creates so much space for the other offensive outlets. too much pressure on lowry right now.

Iman Shumpert is good, but JR Smith, not so good.

Nah Shumpert has been average all season bar the first few games, in fact I'd say he has been poor since he came back from his acl injury 12 months ago. Watch him play excellent now at Cleveland though

Phil Jackson is wanting to start again and I don't blame him. Watching us is painful!

I read Anthony is hurt too? Will he sit out or continue to play? Either way, the Knicks' season is ruined, sad to see.

Mitch Kupchak's (Lakers GM) daughter died at the age of 15 yesterday. Apparently she suffered from a lenghty illness, very sad news..

The Knicks shopping Calderon now. They'll easily be the worst team in the league without Carmelo playing

Pistons are on fire. What an ending to the game. Spurs only have themselves to blame though, they could've defended the 3 instead of fouling and should've bagged their FT's. Still, great effort by Pistons considering they were down by 18 at some point in the 1st half. Impressive defence too.

Yeah Carmelo is having a few minor injuries but I think he is just waiting until after the All Star Game and then he will sit out the rest of the season, Don't blame him.

Cleveland clearly won that trade, they dumped an idiot and some scrubs for some much needed support for their bench and they got a pick in return. Shumpert might not be as good as everyone expected him to be, but he can still play defense and a motivated JR is a damn fine player to call off the bench when the big 3 rests. Cleveland just needs to find a way to trade for a decent big who can actually play defense and they'll be up there at the end of the season.

Why the feck would OKC want Waiters though? He's clearly going to end up replacing Jackson's role for next season, but why didn't they throw him into the trade and get a pick back since he'll be leaving for nothing anyway at the end of the season.

Knicks have have officially declared themselves tanking with this trade and I'll be surprised if Carmelo even plays again this season.

The piston are just taking the p*ss now. I know Josh Smith wasn't playing well, but how bad was he?!

Miami need to sort out their problems quickly, or I could easily see Detroit overtaking them soon.

Can Phoenix actually get that 8th spot ahead of Spurs or OKC?

ffs. The pistons are 7-0 now with a double digit win at Dallas on the second day of a back-to-back.

7-0 now. And they did it in the last 2 games against Mavs and Spurs. Away. On a back to back.

Highly unlikely. Too much quality on that team

It's not because of Miami, it's because of fecking Detroit. They're going mad.

Hopefully no more injuries for Wade and Bosh.

Thunder are a rabble at the moment. Get to .500 and suddenly they start playing poorly.

Wtf is going on at the Pistons, 7-0 and recently against the Mavericks no less.

Any rebuilding team should just sign Josh Smith and immediately waive him, seems to be ticket to success.

To be fair, he's been pretty decent so far coming off the bench for the rockets. 17.5/6/2 53% FG off the bench isn't too shabby, though its early days.

Maybe he's destined to be a pretty good 6th man, not someone you'd expect to build your frontcourt around.
