Haven't watched any Rockets this year, but they surely seem a vastly improved team from last season from their box scores.

Enjoyed J.J. Hickson's efforts for the Blazers last night against the hated Knicks (I've decided to hate them again). He was ferocious in going after rebounds and with his put-backs. i think he's a good fit with Aldridge too, that team will be a real threat in another year or two.

If this prediction was ment as trolling than job well done, if not however than you have let your dislike of teams seriously cloud your judgment.

No way, I repat, no fecking way in hell is New York going to have such a poor record this year.
They are going over 50 wins 100%, in my opinion they'll go over 55, but seriously 50 is the absolute bare minimum.

They're still favorites in my opinion to finish 2nd behind Miami, however you're seriously deluded if you think the difference between them will be 21 games.

Miami will not win 65 games, I don't see that happening, I'm not even sure that they're going to finish 1st, although they are the favorites.

And stop underrating the Pistons as well.
Sure, they're unlikely to reach the playoffs, atleast that's what I believe, but 20 wins? They'll get more than that for sure.

Saying stuff like this is like saying Barcelona is going to get relegated and Galatasaray's going to win the CL while Johan Djorou gets nominated for player of the year. - never going to happen

The fact that you're Chinese probably has something to do with it.

Just to get things clear I'm not being racist in anyway xD For instance I like to see the Suns win because Dragič is playing there, otherwise they're a shit team.
The Rockets though are only fun to watch now because of Harden and occasionaly Parsons from my perspective. (Dispise them for beating the Knicks twice this season though).
 
I thought last season Gasol was playing too close to the perimeter but this year he's taking 3-pt shots! D'Antoni should be sacked for that alone, retarded trying to make Pau something he is not. If he doesn't fit the system trade him, or make the system fit the players you have rather than the other way round.

The lakers need a win and a strong performance tonight against the Clippers. Unfortunately I don't see that happening.

The Bulls have always dominated the Heat in the regular season, but can they beat the Heat in a 7 game series?

Nevertheless, great performance by the Bulls. Impressed with how their bench contributed. And look at the rebounds! :eek:

Awful performance from the Heat offensively, and beyond awful when it comes to rebounding..

I think I was very optimistic with my 57-25 prediction..

Found a nice stream for Lakers-Clippers, turned it off after 5 minutes. This is already getting ugly.

I actually think we're going to struggle to make it into the playoffs.
 
I really hope the Lakers improve and be contenders this year.. It just looks like an unbelievable waste of talent at the moment..

I do think they will turn around though..

Game's lost for me when Howard fouled out and Gasol came back in.

I'm not usually one to call for scapegoats but I think it's pretty clear that Gasol doesn't fit in here.

The overall record and the margin of our defeats so far this season would be a lot worse but for Kobe's performances. He's been very efficient and the only one who has played the games with the requisite level of intensity needed to contend for a championship.

There were a few open looks yesterday, but the Lakers need to stop taking so many 3-pt shots. That combined with the lack of intensity on D means we're always chasing games and inevitably end up losing against the better sides.

Refusing to adjust the system to fit the players he has, shows how inept the coach is. Magic was correct to call D'Antoni's system "stupid basketball". D'Antoni needs to feck off. He can take the cnut Jimmy Buss with him.
 
Seems like there are more problems in Lakerland. Howard has made comments which appear to be him taking shots at Kobe. Kobe himself discussed the Shaq-Kobe partnership and said nothing will match the dynamic those 2 had. If they are feuding, that is not good as Howard has yet to commit long-term.

We appear to be in meltdown.

Wrong. It's D'Antoni's system and Howard that doesn't fit the Lakers.

It's not rocket science to realise that a fast paced running game just don't suit an ageing team which lacks depth and outside shooters.

For all his talk about wanting to win, Howard's total lack of interest in playing defense this year is not helping at all. Offense gets you on magazine covers, while defense wins championships. Howard's career so far has shown that he's more interested about himself rather than winning.

I'm starting to think that the Lakers would have been better off if they had sticked with Bynum instead of getting Howard.
