Nba 2011-2012

Bron Bron has been taking lessons off Suarez I see, been incredible apart from his flopping.

Very sad to see Rose in this situation.. I hope it's not serious and he can come back soon..

Miami are thrashing the Knicks at the moment, but I don't think it will be like that every game.. I can see the Knicks putting up more of a fight in the coming games..

Torn ACL and MCL apparently, out for the playoff's, huge blow for Chicago's title hopes. Not 100% confirmed yet though.

Is this confirmed? I read he did put more weight on it on the way out, which was a good sign..

Not yet but a lot of conjecture. Word is the Chicago locker room was quite down after the win, not looking good I am afraid.

100-67! Great win for the Heat..

It's still one win though. Next game is another game. Will be interesting to see how the Knicks will respond...

Heat have an easier passage to the finals if Rose's injury is as bad as what is being said, although if they play the Celtics that could be interesting if Boston can keep up the momentum they've had since the all-star break.

Jalen Rose blaming the compressed schedule for the injuries that have happened to the big name players this season. I have to agree with him to an extent, playing so many games in such a short period of time was just stupid. I think the shorter season would be a good idea but they should play it over the same number of months as they would be 82 game season.

What a blow for the Bulls! What the hell was Thibideou doing having Rose in the game in the last two minutes when they have 12 point lead. What a huge mistake - a title costing mistake! Easy ride for the Heat now out of the East.

Why the hell did Granger hold his dribble and try to make a pass when he is the best player on that team and a leader. I thought he would have wanted to take the last shot.

They were making a run. It made sense to get him back in there to ensure the clear dominance the Bulls showed stayed the opposition. Instead of them going into game 2 thinking...hey we can stay with these guys.

It's unfortunate Rose was injured...but I'd definitely back the Coach on that move.

Plus I don't think it was a title winning mistake. Rose was way too banged up to perform at optimum this year in the playoffs. No way would he have lasted till the end.

I'm disappointed for him on a personal level...misses out on the playoffs and the Olympics.

Damn shame for Rose and the Bulls. The Heat just got an "easy" path to the Finals, sigh. Granted the Celtics might put up a good fight if the aging players step up to help Rondo.

That was fecking close

Durant with the clutch shot, but what was Marion doing?

no timeouts and a 1.5 seconds on the clock...fail. lol

durant got the friendly bounce didn't he. it shouldn't have come to that. okc clamped down the d on dallas and got some turnovers that cost dallas the game. oh well.

There is no easy path in the playoffs.. Miami could be the favorites in the East at the moment (with or without Rose by the way), but it won't be easy. Remember last year? The Spurs? The Lakers? ...

chubby Charles wrote the Lakers off pre game :)
up 17 atm q4 , bynum 9 blocks

Fantastic performance from Bynum with a triple-double and great start from the Lakers. Sessions has been a very good signing so far, he's going to have to continue contributing if we're going to get far in the playoffs.

Btw, does anyone have a site where I may be able to watch the playoff games? ESPN are hardly showing any games.

He gets the tenth, ties the record, and gets the triple double..

The Lakers are very dangerous this year. A very good point guard in Sessions. A very good center in Bynum. And a very good forward in Gasol...

Ah, and Bryant.

Memphis are a very good team - of course no experts are picking the Clippers. Conley just needs to feed Gasol, and he'll beast them down low all day.

Agreed. Memphis are a better team, mainly because of their depth (I don't think anybody on the Grizzlies team is better than Paul or Griffen), but those two (Paul and Griffin, mainly Paul) are still capable of having a major impact on the series.

Even though the Grizzlies might still be slight favorites in my opinion (esp. with the home court adv.), at least one of those 5 should have fancied a minor upset here.

Their predictions are boring.

You notice Blake when he isn't within 5 feet of the basket - this is the reason none of the experts wanted to put their neck out and pick the Clippers. Bricking shot after shot.

Just hasn't developed his offensive game as much as you'd expect from someone at this stage of their career.

Yep. Still time for him to develop that.

At the moment the Clippers aren't helping me at all..

I think the keyword here is experience.. Playoff experience that is. The Clippers just don't look like themselves. They don't look comfortable, unlike the Grizzlies, who are hitting threes like free throws!

It's a valid point about Griffin (and Jordan) not being able to hit jumpers, but with other players who can help you spread the court, like Butler, Mo Williams, Paul, they should still be fine.. Howard is the best center in the league, and he doesn't even have a jumper.

They just need to settle down a bit, and defend the arc better..
