Nba 2010-2011

Celtics are struggling to close out the season strong. They have some games which they should have won. Not looking good for them especially with the playoffs around the corner.

I have a feeling Bulls might win the Eastern Conference and Spurs, obviously, might win the Western Conference.

rofl. nice feeling....picking the two teams on top and with the easiest run in the east.

That Perkins trade was the GOAT, really fecked up Boston, good job guys, when they did that, I knew they wouldn't be as efficient.

If Lakers didn't have those consecutive losses going into the all-star weekend we could've caught San Antonio for the number 1 seed in the West but too far behind right now. However, 14-1 since then, playing good basketball and what has impressed me is Artest's offense. I said it before, if Lakers are going to get the 3-peat Artest needs to score more and he's done that recently.

Spurs somewhat limping into the playoffs, 3rd straight loss and now Ginobli picking up a knock with Duncan still out injured.

The Knicks don't even try defensively. It's sickening to watch. D'Antoni needs to be fired if the Knicks want to progress.

He'll be gone without a shadow of a doubt...name a D'Antoni team that has ever been decent defensively?

But the name that keeps popping up as a potential replacement is a joke, John Calipari :lol::lol:

I thought after all the scandal with Isiah, they wanted someone nice and clean.

It's amusing the tail spin the Knicks have gone on since the Carmelo deal, the Nuggets got a king's ransom for Melo and have been doing great whilst the Knicks are looking like they might not even make the playoffs.

Carmelo is actually a good defender, he just is lazy as feck

What a game between Cavs and the Heat! I loved the intensity the Cavs showed the whole game. During the third quarter, I thought the Heat were going to catch up.

Lakers with another big win against Mavs. They are looking great even though it was an ugly win. A total of 5 ejections in that game. And I hate fecking Jason Terry.

the mavs are my team but i don't like terry either. he can't be counted on. the refs were terrible tonight also. they let the game get out of control with their let-them-play attitude in the first half and everything's-a-foul attitude in the second half.

Huge win for the Lakers & with the Celtics also beating the Spurs we still have the chance of the #1 seed. 16 wins in 17 games is incredible considering how inconsistent their form was before that.

Lots of ejections, you don't get suspended for being ejected do you?

Generally only if you actually punched someone.

If not for the homer refs in Miami, LAL would probably be on a 17 game winning streak.

So, if the Lakers win a third in a row, and number twelve for Coach Phil, does he come back one more year for a fourth straight?

Or does Coach Phil go to the Knicks?

Most think he'll really retire this time around.

This is his last year. He's not overly healthy anymore, I haven't seen someone have to re-iterate the point so much before, and well if continues, it essentially means two years since there won't be a next year anyway.

What the feck does overly healthy mean?

As for Jackson's health it has been an issue since he was at the Bulls.

Kobe was on PTI this week and he thinks this is it for Jackson, can't see him coming back considering his health.

What is it with lockouts in US sports? Possibly no NFL or NBA next season, but I reckon it'll get sorted out.

Looks like you figured out what it meant

And yes it is a bigger concern now than when it was when he was at the Bulls, even than when he returned to the Lakers, but as you guessed it, as you age, it gradually gets worse which is something he openly acknowledges in a doc that followed them last year(being the worst he's felt at times), shock horror on that right?

The NFL probably will or at least will have a shortened season. The NBA is like 98% confirmed to be done for the year, it's in a mess of a state, it's cap is a joke, the Lebron/Carmelo stuff will only have made it worse, among other problems.

Pretty crazy ending to the Lakers-Nuggets game. Stupid Lakers they had a chance to catch up in the end and they give away a silly rebound they should have had and it cost them the game. Plus the Spurs won too.

Spurs clinch #1 seed in the West, Lakers lost their 3rd straight to end any hopes of getting top spot. Probably fair the Spurs took #1 seeing as the Lakers only managed to close in on them when they had their injury problems.

Bulls should get the #1 on the East, Celtics can still catch them but they have a tough end to the season playing Chicago & Miami (in Miami).

I'm not an avid follower of NBA, but my two young lads are big Orlando fans.

They're harping on about Dwight Howard, any chance he'll get MVP?

I hear it's Rose for sure, but what say you caftards?

Rose will get MVP, Howard should be second but the LeBron brigade will probably mean he ends up with 3rd place.

The Celtics look terrible. Can't believe how much a trade has killed them, obviously the older guys are chilling to save their legs more as they themselves know they can't do it everynight, but still, I think were gonna have a tougher time vs the Magic/Hawks than Heat will vs Boston.

Nahh.. I'm pretty sure Rose will win it. The media have been hyping him up since 2 months ago. One could argue that Howard has to do more since Magic is a worse team than the Bulls, but Rose improvement and the way he lift himself and his team during games against the big teams (Celtics, Heat) would probably win him the award.

FWIW, Bulls biggest trade in the offseason has been signing Tom Thibodeau as their coach. He turn their defense into elite level and that was a good foundation to any great team.

Lakers lose their 5th in a row, despite being good offensively...but defensively Westbrook is too much for Derek Fisher.

Celtics got a beatdown from Miami, looks like Miami has the 2nd seed all wrapped up.

as for the comments above about Dwight Howard...he doesn't deserve MVP, look at what happens in crunch time for Orlando. Obviously him being a center means he won't have the ball in hand, but physically he is unstoppable, yet at times towards the end of games he is a liability.

Derek Rose, is the right choice.
