Nba 2010-2011

Where were you all these days? All of a sudden you come in and say you are supporting them? Did you jump on their bandwagon this past summer?

Well, no. I've always liked Heat due to Wade really. And its only been in the last 18 months where I've really shown a real interest in the NBA because I got ESPN and they show games (not enough in my opinion) now.

Plus I was a fan of Lebron James so when he 'took his talents to South Beach' my interest grew more and more, naturally.

So I started posting in here from time to time as I got to know the game more and my interest grew.

Is that alright with you?

Well considering Shaq injury record in his latter years, then it is a bit dumb to trade Perkins and rely on Shaq

It is, I agree. No one knows what Doc was thinking but he obviously had something in mind when the trade was made.

The Thunder-Nuggets series seem to be the only interesting series going on, in the sense that that might be the only 7 game series in the first round. I don't see anyone in East going to 7 games.

Nuggets got hosed by officiating as well. They along with the Blazers and Knicks sent a claim to the NBA concerning officiating in the fourth quarter. Go figure all three were on the road. What is it with basketball officiating on home courts? Is it the pressure of the home fans?

Great game tonight.. in the sense that it was a real battle til the end, the quality was poor though. Chicago with another horrible win after countless turnovers. I can't understand how they're the best team from regular season. They look awful so far. Probably the expectations are crushing them or they're not actually very good. Hope they improve. I loved watching them during the M.Jordan days.

They are very good, not title winning good yet, but regular season performances and playoffs don't always match up, ask the Phoenix Suns :lol::lol:

This is a young team, all of a sudden playing games where they are clear favorites, and tbf the Pacers aren't complete mugs. The good thing for the Baby Bulls is that, both games, come the 4th quarter Rose has stepped up, and been absolutely clutch.

I expect them to beat the Pacers 4-1, and then get by Orlando, but come up short against Miami in the conference finals.

Odom deservedly winning the Sixth Man of the Year award, now I hope he performs in Game 2 against the Hornets, can't afford to go 0-2.

I hope they Lakers are mad when they play tomorrow. I want them to absolutely thrash the Hornets.

Another close game between Knicks and Boston. There is no way Boston is going to sweep the Knicks. The later team are putting up a very good battle and the second game went down to the wire even though they did not have Billups.

The Nuggets got whooped by the Thunder. Spurs beat Grizzlies to make it 1-1. Hopefully Lakers can bounce back tonight.

Good win for LA, Bynum was impressive on both ends of the court as was Odom. Kobe struggled shooting but he did a decent job guarding CP3, Gasol again struggled shooting & he really needs to wake up and find some form if the Lakers are to challenge for the title.

Not easy for a 7th seed to win when committing 16 turnovers and the bench scoring 13 points, far worse numbers than Game 1. Until proven otherwise, Game 1 was a fluke for me. The upstart dogs shocking the overconfident and slumbersome favorites.

Big win for LA, home-court advantage is restored. Bynum was a beast particularly in the first half & Kobe returned back to his normal self. Hopefully we can wrap the series up quickly.

Rondo was exceptional in the Celtics win, he has to be one of the best passers of the ball in the NBA & if he develops a better jump-shot then he can be an elite player imo. Ray Allen had a typically good game, his shot is incredible & it's always the same action whether he's being guarded or not, one of the greatest shooters I have seen.

Orlando-Hawks series looks to be a good one, couple of players got into a mini-brawl & Hawks sealing the win with a big 3 pointer from Crawford.

I can see Howard forcing his way out of Orlando if they collapse in the first round. He surely see's Orlando as nothing ever better than a 2nd round appearance from here on. I say the Lakers and Nets make huge moves for him. Maybe a couple other clubs could make pitches for him as well.

Spurs lose again to Memphis, what's happening with the Spurs? Apparently Memphis purposely lost their last few games to ensure they would meet San Antonio in the first-round - could be a great move if they beat them.

OKC will probably sweep Denver (although the first game Denver should've won but for the poor officiating). Not sure if OKC are good enough to beat the Lakers in a 7 game series, they'll certainly push them as they did last year but maybe this year is too soon for OKC to go to the finals.

Lakers wouldn't meet OKC until the conference finals. It would be OKC/Memphis and LAL/Dallas or Portland.

Typical shit from the Mavericks when it counts. Notorious big lead chokers. I remember the Lakers coming from like 25 down against them about seven-ten years ago.

But the Celtics will meet the Heat next round which means an easier route to the final for the Bulls.

The Hawks getting some nice revenge on the Magic. They are one game away from playing the Bulls in the semifinals.

He is talking about the Spurs of England I did a double take too. Although I guess you could say the mavs have won the regular season once or twice I think.

get tnt they have a lot of games too

Grizzlies murdered the Spurs tonight...wasn't even a contest. Spurs will now need to win 3 in a row to win the series. They're old and banged up, and the Grizzlies are an up and coming team, but I just didn't expect this.

I am happy with the Nuggets. They are my second favorite team after the Lakers. I really wished they had won game 3. I cannot believe the Spurs are struggling. They were favorite to reach the Western Conference finals. Its unbelievable!
