Nba 2010-2011

Reggie sucks. He is not even close to being as funny as Chuck is.

True, Barkley's in his own league. I love his quote from last year: "You ever notice Gatorade don't work for players that suck" so true and

That's better. He could easily do the 12ft dunk Howard did a few years back.

Nice move, looks even better in slow-mo.

It seems the ref's are blind in the NBA as well.

Griffin's won it.

Has LeBron ever entered the contest, I'd like to see him and Griffin go at it.

No suprises - the contest was an enjoyable watch, much better than last year and great entertainment as well with the props and creativity this year.

Last year was the worst slam dunk I have ever seen. This year was definitely so much more creative. And what ever happens, I hope Nate Robinson never enters the dunk contest again.

A reverse dunk over a moving car would've been nice. Is that too much to ask?

A lot of people don't seem to be impressed by the dunk over the car. I thought it was really good, I mean his elevation was superb.

The All Star Dunk competition is a stupid fecking gimmick

I think Griffin seemed to be too confident and McGee's dunks were better in summary.

It was fixed for Griffin just like the NBA fixed the finals for the Lakers.

Because it was over the hood. Had he gone over the cab portion then it would have been sensational. Of course neither he nor the Clippers nor the NBA or going to take a chance of him shattering his knee/legs/face etc.

BTW, I have heard Dirk dunked over a car in the 90s and in doing so (he won the car) lost his college eligibility, hence why he went pro. He was supposedly going to UNC after finishing his German A levels. Not sure how much of that is true if any of it especially when he was predicted to go top 10 in 1998.

It was "I wish" scenario for them to trade Nash for Artest.

They're like trying to fill Nash with the one of the most underwhelming squad ever to try and make the playoffs.

I know what you meant but usually a wish should have some sense of reality to it. ;)

Nash has himself to blame. He could have been a free agent a year ago but he elected to resign with a year remaining on his contract (in 2009). He took the bigger money offer versus going to a half dozen clubs that he could have elevated to a title contender. He turned down the Knicks despite his former coach having been there a year.

Granted, maybe he enjoys living in Arizona (though he maintains a house in Dallas too) and playing for the Suns. I personally had hoped he'd have hit the free agency route and signed on with the Lakers or Knicks or whomever. I'd have preferred Kidd to have not resigned with Dallas and gone to LAL.
