Nba 2010-2011

Turn on ESPN to watch a bit of the NBA All-star weekend, I see legends Magic & Scottie Pippen and then out of no-where Justin fecking Bieber. Disgraceful, is there nothing left that this kid hasn't ruined

In the long run, I reckon Bynum is a better fit for a championship team than Anthony is. Although with his injury record, it might be wise to cut their losses and gamble on Anthony.

Would be ideal in my opinion if they manage to trade for Nash for Artest. Keeps their size advantage and Nash is a major upgrade over Fisher at point. Although whether Nash would fit into the triangle offense is another matter.

They'd never trade him to LAL and certainly not for Artest.

The time to win is not in the future for the Lakers, it's now. Why would they trade a vital piece of their team now when this is Jackson's last season?

And Anthony is not good enough to be the main man at any Championship winning team, let alone the Lakers.

Exactly. And when he ends up in New Jersey in a few days he'll be staring at mediocrity for the rest of his career. But ah heck, at least he'll get his three year extension.

Then he'll pull a Mitch Richmond/Ray Allen and join a top duo/trio for a title run in his last year or two.

This might turn out a blessing for the Knicks as they keep the current nucleus and make a run for Chris Paul and/or another good player.

ESPN UK have just repeated the first round of the 2009 Slam Dunk contest four times in the past 20 minutes. fecking idiots, I can't believe I'm paying for this shit.

Anyway, this year's competition will be won by Blake Griffin, although during yesterday's rookie game, one of the commentators said he had seen one of the other competitors in the competition practice 3 dunks he had never seen before. Hopefully it means this year's competition will be better than last year's pathetic effort.

Edit: and now they're repeating the first round of the 2010 contest. feck off and die ESPN

ESPN are only showing what they are showing on the American ESPN thats covering the All-Star....calm down dude.

They're showing the repeats which are somehow stuck on loop. I'd rather watch another documentary about the Lakers or any other championship team than the same thing over and over again. Plus the fact they don't realise their mistake doesn't help.

Eventually he got the double dunk - that was impressive.

When they finally get the dunk, it's much less exciting, imo. You know what's coming and have seen them screw it up several times so it's not as amazing.

Amazing stuff from McGee and Griffin. It was a good dunk from Ibaka and I think he deserved at least a 48.

Reggie & Chuck add to the comedy value.

Good acting by the kid, nice use of the prop as well.

No way is that better than the Ibaka one. At least 3 players on Duke's team can do that easily. Two of them are white too! One 6'10 brother jumped over the 6'11 brother to dunk last summer.

And now it sounds like McGee is going to steal one of their dunks from the McDonalds All-American game...

Not a 46 - reputation got him through.
