yes.
Am I the only one who doesn't want us to sign Nasri?
Stop spelling Champions League wrong. I bet you £20 we finish more than 5 points ahead of them.
I'm not to keen on Nasri either. He had a great first half of last season. Other than that he has been good without being spectacular. But then I havent seen enough Arsenal matches and he is still very young and clearly talented
I wouldnt mind if we signed him. Wouldnt care if we didnt.
All signings are exciting, he wouldnt be any different
I can't believe you read the comments in this thread and inferred that people think it's an impossible transfer.

there are always exceptionsWould you be excited if we signed Charlie Adam?

It's beginning to look quite likely that we'll sign him
good player
there are always exceptions
City are interested in him and might or might not have bid. How do you come to the above conclusion with this info
Because he'd be a fecking idiot to join that City team where he wouldn't get much games.
Unless he wants the money ... which is likely.
Pete, how does the possible departures of Clicjy, Fabregas and Nasri fit in with you famous 5-year plan?

He grew up supporting Arsenal didnt he?
I think I remember seeing a picture, just after he had signed for Arsenal, of a young Nasri in his room and there was some Arsenal flag/scarf/shirt there as well.
If he is trying to force a move away, it isnt to a club he has always wanted to play for. Money will be a huge factor.
And he will get games at city. Him, Yaya and De Jong in a 3 man midfield.
Him out wide for half the season as Balotelli is always suspended.
Getting games shouldnt be a problem
Why don't you want a player of Nasri's quality? In my opinion he would massively improve our midfield.
You seem to be trying to argue that city are an equally valid footballing choice, I'm arguing they're not. It's quite clear that if a desire to compete for the big trophies is a player's ambition, he will join United over city. We had our worst points finish in years last year and still finished comfortably ahead of city. Of course, they're more appealing than when they weren't in the Champions League, but this matters little when you're putting them up next to Manchester United. city to Arsenal is a sideways step.Boo fecking hoo. Its not misspelling, btw. It was an incorrect use of an apostrophe, and all it shows is that you're a dick and don't have a valid argument.
I bet you thought we would have signed Arjen Robben ahead of Chelsea because we were more established too.
We may well finish 5 points ahead of City, we finished how many points ahead of our challengers this year? Doesn't mean they weren't competing

well, as someone else pointed out, City are a bunch of c-words. He'd not even get in the team there either. It'd be worse than Hleb to Barcelona.
I think it's very likely we're interested, or at least testing the waters.
I think it's very unlikely that Arsenal will sell him to us, at any price.
If they can't negotiate a new contract (and I think they probably will, if only to avoid pissing off their already pissed off fans still further) this will end up like the Heinze saga, where they shop around to find an alternative destination acceptable to the player and the club.
Very VERY different situation.
Heinze had more time running on his contract and would've had to wait a LONG time before being in Nasri's position. I can guarantee you that if Heinze had a year left and we got a 20m offer from the scousers, he'd have been sold to them.
Heinze problem was that we held more cards and he'd alienated himself to United fans by coming out publicly and saying that he wanted to join our closest rivals, even taking us to court. Once the courts told him to feck off he had one option, MOVE ABROAD.
Heinze situation was similar to Robinho's!

Isn't money one of the big reasons he actually wants to leave? So there is always a chance he will pick City over us if it comes down to the both of us.
Even if Tevez stayed, Nasri would still be a star for them. He'd also start every game. In fact he'd be the perfect foil to Toure and De Jong in center midfield. I sure hope City don't get him. What?
If Tevez goes he'd be their star player. He'd play every week for sure

Incorrect use of an apostrophe is a misspelling. I'm just saying.
