Reliable journalists have highlighted Chelsea's potential FFP issues in the past. They just aren't in the spotlight as much as United because (1) it's United and (2) we have a cash flow problem whereas Chelsea don't.

Those are baseball contracts. Its stupid for both parts, as player won't be happy with current wages in 4-5 years and Chelsea has the risk they flop and will be tied to a long ass contract.

The max. contract length is 5 years according to FIFA's Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players, but other lengths are accepted as long as they are legal in the country that they are being applied in.
