Moyes So Far!

Ferguson would have either won the title by now or it would be a close race between United and City/Chelsea.

Not sure if you're aware but well, it's Liverpool who are top of the league. Unless you think that by SAF retiring it's given Liverpool some sort of psychological boost that no one else received.

For the last few seasons under SAF, there was a rumble of discontent, obviously that was largely replaced with respect and admiration when he announced his retirement and we saw the bigger picture of his success, but it's fair to say in his later years we had been spoiled and perhaps were a little critical of the great man, that said, it's that drive for perfection and success, never accepting second best that makes an elite club like United, bayern, barca and real truly unique.....
No, it was because of the Rock of the Gibraltar nonsense, his back of the Glazer family and him telling fans that if he didn't like their ownership they could "feck off and support Chelsea". As a man, I think Moyes is a much nicer, more dignified person than Ferguson but that's worthless given the job he's doing, Ferguson being so single minded and a bit of a cnut is why he was such a brilliant manager. Our squad is very flawed but I reckon we'd be on our way to another championship if he was still in charge.

The worst thing about Moyes is that he has taken any joy from watching United. We've had trophyless seasons in the past but I'd still always look forward to a game.

I mean, today after we went a goal down could any of you see us winning the game? I certainly couldn't. The result was a mere formality. There's no excitement watching the team. We go a goal down we lose. There is no sense of looking forward to a Man Utd onslaught in the last 15.

In the past, we'd consider it an insult if a team took the lead and we'd usually up our game by 10-15% and really make teams pay. Nowadays as soon as even mediocre teams go a goal ahead they are able to shut up shop and inevitably hit us on the break and get a 2nd.
I stopped watching with 10 minutes to go. I cant remember ever doing that before. It wasnt that we were going to lose but it was that we didnt even look like scoring and in the final third it looked like Everton were having a laugh.

You have become worse than me Stack. The crazy thing is that once you decide that the manager isn't good enough, then you'll see all the bad things coming from him.

Noticed a lot of people migrating over to the "out" camp today. This match was essentially the last chance he had to make a good impression this season and he flunked it.
I'm not so sure anymore. I think* he will be at Newcastle next season.
Not a bad call actually.

Shit mate you missed the best bit in the whole game, Rooney went through one v one with Howard in about.. the 86th minute, yes, we created a chance.. I shit you not.

The MOTD interview is even worse. He actually says that United were the better side and rambles on and on about possession. He's clueless.

Does he actually understand that everton were happy for us to have so much possession today, it allowed them to hit us on the break and lets be honest we did feck all when we did have it anyway.

They most certainly were having a laugh. Nutmegs by Baines, fecking olés from the crowd, it was a joke. Please get rid of him ASAP.

Just watched the interview on BBC and the cnut seems genuinely happy with that performance. I think to beat him with some of the comments he's made has been unwarranted at times but the guy comes across as a dimwit. Whenever he's come out with stupid comments there's no sarcasm, no nothing, the prick is usually grinning.

I don't know how SAF can find that kind of behavior acceptable. I am sure SAF has watched Moyes' comments during the season. Did SAF ever grin and smile after a humiliating defeat? I don't understand how Man United management can find this acceptable.

Im just gutted. I really would like to see him turn it all around but we just keep going backwards. I still think the seasons failings have been a combination of a number of things but even with all the non Moyes reasons he still had the chance to have a team play in a manner that would give people hope for the future. However for me anyway i just dont see him turning anything around.

Yeah there aren't many places where he can go. I doubt Spanish and German teams will be queuing up for his services after the bad publicity that he got with us. It will have to be a British team. He won't drop under midtable and the only team that is likely to consider changing their manager are Newcastle. They've been in free fall and Pardew embarrassed himself and the club with his actions.

For all this to happen though, we need to take the brave (and obvious decision) and sack him.

"United were the better team" David Moyes.

We could have lost 4-0 had Everton taken advantage of all their opportunities.

Sir Alex took the Coolmore people to court in 2003, the Glazer takeover occurred in 2005. The two are unrelated, unless we think the Glazer's bought a football club to save the blushes of a man they had yet to meet?

There's no link between the two unless everyone who held shares in the club were in a dispute about horse ownership with Ferguson at the time?

They felt at the time they sold their shares to the Glazers to spite Sir Alex..
Which I never felt was the case, they were business men and made a s**t load of money.
Also the feck off and support chelsea thing was just some random tosser having a go at everyone and everything at an airport one day, remember the same guy slagging Rio off over his new deal when Sir Alex told him to feck off, would have done similar myself.

A moral sacking, for Newcastle's sake.
We must do this now, and stop being so selfish.

I know. Sunderland did the double against them this season. Sunderland who are bottom of the league. Embarrassing.

The need Moyesie to try and make them hard to beat.

I didn't say there was a link, I listed 2 reasons why RI didn't like him. The club was destabilised because of his greed with the Coolmore people and then later on he pissed off fans by aggressively supporting the very unpopular Glazer family.

Moyes would do a sensational job at Newcastle guiding them to 6th place every year with a low budget, extraordinary achievement.

Ashley's wet dream. I was thinking Villa, but it's probably right to say Moyes would think he's above it.

I genuinely think he'd benefit from taking over a club in Germany for a while. A club like Wolfsburg/Leverkeusen would be very good for him.

I cannot beleive that interview. The guy is convinced we played well and the loss doesn't seem to bother him at all.

What kills me is that I don't feel like he's under any sort of pressure.

What bothers me more is that the reporter just stands there and allows his stupid outrageous comments to go unchallenged.

.

He supported the Glazer family because they backed him to do his job. Why should he have listened to self-promoting fan financial "experts" who have proven to be wrong on pretty much everything they said?

What are you talking about? I said that's why he's unpopular with RI. Someone asked why they didn't like him, I gave the reason that is all.

Many here know enough about football to know that Everton completely controlled the match...and we were significantly second best.......

enough already.

Steve Round with that 'set plays' manual is on a par with an elite surgeon studying the child's game Operation. Moyes overseeing it while wearing scrubs cackling.
The dummy is our club, and Moyes joins in to stab the poor fecker to death.

More like a 1st year medic.
