Moyes So Far!

Why? I know that they hate everyone and everything (especially redcafe) but why they did hate Fergie? Are they clinically mental?
For the last few seasons under SAF, there was a rumble of discontent, obviously that was largely replaced with respect and admiration when he announced his retirement and we saw the bigger picture of his success, but it's fair to say in his later years we had been spoiled and perhaps were a little critical of the great man, that said, it's that drive for perfection and success, never accepting second best that makes an elite club like United, bayern, barca and real truly unique.....

Anyone see that photo of the Everton fan dressed up as the Grim Reaper and sat behind Moyes grinning at him? I don't know how to copy and post it but someone here should.

It's been done mate. Plus it's all over The Sun...let's not rub it in anymore eh?

They were in 13th the year before he took over (nine points off relegation). Surely you can see the difference between Klopp finishing sixth then and Moyes (possibly) finishing sixth with us? you can't be that deluded.

Where would we have been in the league table last season with an injured RVP ?

Around that position.

Really? We would have been 13th without RvP in 12/13?

These are the points RvP's goals directly gained us in that season.

2 vs Fulham
3 vs Southampton
4 vs Liverpool
2 vs Chelsea
3 vs Arsenal
3 vs West Ham
2 vs Reading
2 vs Man City
2 vs Newcastle
1 vs Tottenham
2 vs Aston Villa
1 vs WBA

That's a total of 27 points. If you literally remove all of those goals, and assume his replacement didn't score any goals at all himself, we would have been 8th. Even assuming that ridiculous scenario, we would still be closer to 1st than 13th in points.

Steve Round with that 'set plays' manual is on a par with an elite surgeon studying the child's game Operation. Moyes overseeing it while wearing scrubs cackling.
The dummy is our club, and Moyes joins in to stab the poor fecker to death.

The worst thing about Moyes is that he has taken any joy from watching United. We've had trophyless seasons in the past but I'd still always look forward to a game.

I mean, today after we went a goal down could any of you see us winning the game? I certainly couldn't. The result was a mere formality. There's no excitement watching the team. We go a goal down we lose. There is no sense of looking forward to a Man Utd onslaught in the last 15.

In the past, we'd consider it an insult if a team took the lead and we'd usually up our game by 10-15% and really make teams pay. Nowadays as soon as even mediocre teams go a goal ahead they are able to shut up shop and inevitably hit us on the break and get a 2nd.

Haven't a clue. I found the first part in twitter and went to town. I've also put the creater of the "support moyes thread" so I don't have to see that monstrosity again.

Moyes has managed to totally change the culture/mindset of the club and the fans in just a few months.

Whatever we may think him, you have to admit that takes skill. He has fooled millions.

Sack him. Sack him as fast as possible. He's done nothing to show he's the man for the job. To take the champions to 7th place is unthinkable, yet apparently doable.
Everytime I see your posts and then read your username and can't help but laugh

This bit. Even during the years when Sexton was here, we always looked forward to the match. Maybe it was because there was a camaraderie amongst the fans back then that is absent from the game today, maybe it's something else altogether, I don't know.

He hasn't a scooby doo what to do. Not a clue.

And still he has been able to convince millions that he is the right man for the job and that our squad has absolutely no talent. That our squad needs to be replaced entirely and that he should be given the privilege of spending the money on building a new team.

I would have never believed that this would have been possible 10 months ago. Had someone told me this would happen, I would have laughed in their face and never taken that person seriously again.

What about his assists though? You should remove them too and do the check again. And if it doesn't add up then you should also remove the goals when Van Persie made the pass to the guy who made the assist.

Not this shit again.

Where would Barca and Real Madrid be if you removed all of Messi's and Ronaldo's goals/assists from the past few seasons?

I am sick of this stupid RVP argument. He was not on the team in 2011 and 2012. Did we finish in 7th place those seasons?

 Usually my satire doesn't work.

I think that we would have won the title even without him.

I was responding to the entire idea of the RVP argument. I know you were not being serious. I just used your post because it was easily available to me. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

The MOTD interview is even worse. He actually says that United were the better side and rambles on and on about possession. He's clueless.
